It was a crime before. We’re just enforcing it currently.
The fish bro too lazy to look cause he don’t want to know
Payroll Taxes (Social Security and Medicare)
Many undocumented workers use fake or borrowed Social Security numbers to get jobs.
As a result, they pay into Social Security and Medicare, even though they are not eligible to receive those benefits.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) has an “Earnings Suspense File” for wages that can’t be matched to valid SSNs. In 2010 alone, it was estimated that undocumented immigrants contributed $12 billion to Social Security.
Federal Income Taxes
Many undocumented immigrants file income tax returns using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) issued by the IRS.
They may file taxes to:
Comply with U.S. law.
Establish a record of "good moral character" for potential future immigration benefits.
Claim refunds if overwithheld.
Some also have taxes withheld from their paychecks automatically, even if they don’t file.
State and Local Taxes
Undocumented immigrants pay:
Sales taxes when they buy goods and services.
Property taxes directly if they own homes or indirectly through rent.
State income taxes (in states that have them), either via withholding or ITIN filing.
Other Taxes
Gasoline taxes
Utility taxes and fees
Alcohol and tobacco taxes
Vehicle registration and license fees
So when will you be applying for your citizenship?

Seems unreasonably optimistic.
I thought these were the people, working for cash, that would collapse the agricultural industry if they disappeared?
If you think they’re paying federal taxes or paying tax beyond sales tax, idk what else to say.
Are they also contributing to a 401k they’ll never collect on too? It’s that how we actually save SS? More illegals?
Come on man
If you want to ignore information simply because it challenges the things you already believe, I can’t help you with that.
Immigrants often work for cash
They are the backbone of our agriculture
They also pay a lot of taxes
Those three things can all be true and don’t contradict eachother.
That’s just you making up ridiculous things and then calling them ridiculous.
Why do you think they’re not? What is your source of information?
Previous arguments your peers and “experts” have made
??? We’ve all cited that they pay federal taxes from multiple sources
What is your source that they don’t?
It’s ok, we didn’t really think you were asking the question in good faith.
Which industry are they working were they (in point 1 of your own list, to cite)
Forge a SS# and pay federal taxes on their income?
Agriculture or construction?
Lawn maintenance?
Cook?
If you think they aren’t being paid cash under the table, in almost every circumstance, you are simply wrong
Can you find me any source at all that undocumented immigrants don’t pay federal taxes? Where are you getting this information?
Here’s an article about how they do pay federal taxes to answer your question
