Remove dungeon deserter for leaving LFR

as title states, remove dungeon deserter for leaving LFR

when i join LFR and 2/3 of the bosses are dead already, i just leave. why should i be penalized because almost all of the content i signed up for is already dead?

i have to kill 1 boss, and then requeue again and then leave 2 bosses in? this is a terrible system

there should be no penalty if you leave LFR when bosses are already downed

Omg hate when that happens and it always results in this cycle of people having to deal with it cause there’s literally no reason to stick around and do bosses you’ve already done.

yeah idk im not sticking around to kill 1 boss and then sit in lfr AGAIN to kill 2 bosses then leave again, its stupid. backfilling lfr is horrible

Meanwhile, people waiting for replacements so they can finally kill the last boss: Guess I’ll just keep waiting then.

Suck it up, buttercup. You are not the main character in the game, either do the last boss and requeue, or wait 30 mins and requeue. No matter what happens, you’re still gonna be requeuing anyway, so just finish the last boss then requeue!

Don’t you go and use that logic on us. I’m really tired of people making sense on the forums.

Or maybe make it give you a bonus when you requeue LFR (after you join and defeat the last boss) that you get put in the Disney Fast Track lane or something?

you can teleport out of the dungeon and continue playing the game until you backfill people who will stay… ??

suck it up buttercup

this is a good idea

You’re the only one, tho.

Or better idea people learn time management and only do LFR if they know they have the like 1-2 hours to complete it rather then quitting mid way through and wasting other people’s time.

Turns out some people will be degens when they don’t know any of the other people they are playing with and have access to an functionally unlimited pool of more random groups.

there should be no penalty if you leave LFR when bosses are already downed

very easy to understand

So I’ll try and say it without telling you to “suck it up”…

Everyone in LFR is there for their own reasons. The system is set up as best Blizzard could, to juggle everyone’s needs in…

Oh suck it up, buttercup.

yeah no

there should be no penalty for joining something thats already 66% complete

no thanks. waste of my time

this is also 100% and completely wrong and you can absolutely design it in a better way. i do not join ffxiv raids when they are 80% done as you’re expected to stay for the entire amount of time you’re in the raid.

We never really know why someone is missing from a run, though. They could have dc’d and the group kicked them cause a friend in the run said they aint got no internet so just kick them.

Form your own group and just run normals then?

Removing deserter is not solution. You should get a prompt for the LFRs progress (what bosses killed) so you can decline with information.

The person already waited in queue to do the content. Then got put into a group with bosses down(not what they were waiting for). People just want their time respected.

I agree it would make sense to put in something to help that situation.

this is about lfr not normal but thanks

Then accept how it’s been for years upon years now for queued content.
