Streamers are completing quests but not turning them in so that they can gain weeks worth of advantage from getting ahead on renown levels. I should not be made to feel like I’m playing the game wrong and being significantly behind because I did the loremaster achievement week 1 and did not wait for a stupid 10% buff. Removing the buff from affecting the quests would be very much in line with the recent nerf to artisan acuity gains by shuffling through professions. Please remove the DMF buff from affecting main story and side quests.
Why do u care about other people. Their renown won’t affect you

An extra 10% buff is nothing in the long run. And who cares what Streamers do.
If they are going to jump off a bridge, are you going to complain about them having the falling first advantage?
They nerfed frog farming even though everyone could have done that, Blizzard cares about people having an advantage over others. The same applies here. Being weeks ahead having access to multiple free enchanted crests WEEKS ahead of everyone else so they’re able to use their crests to get more ilvl is an unfair advantage because they waited for a 10% buff. This advantage should not exist.
It’s also weird you’re worried about me asking for something when you actively campaigned against plunderstorm when it was a resounding success with the community.

…they are not going to be weeks ahead. 10% here isn’t the massive buff you think it is.
the 10% adds up very quickly to be literally weeks worth of reputation gained because they waited. It’s not appropriate.

Even tho rep is split up into tiny chunks now, you still need 40000-ish rep to max out, so getting an extra couple hunded Rep using this stupid “trick” barely moves the needle and, at best, might nudge them up one rank (and even then, only if they were already very close to the next rank),

You’re already behind no matter what, I already hit lvl 8 renown on everything thanks to doing a bunch of WQ’s that also rewarded a bunch of great gear and I’ve been farming currency none stop so my character is almost fully upgraded with the best in slot currently available to guarantee myself invites for groups. If you didn’t play in EA you ARE significantly behind regardless of what these guys are doing and only have yourself to blame for not spending the money.
