Remove Darkflame cart escort from M+

Continuing the discussion from Undermine(d) Development Notes:

Just remove the mine cart event. Every youtube creator and basically the whole community want it gone from M+

This stupid mine cart RP event still wipes NORMAL dungeon groups. It is going to be AWFUL in mythic + and the backlash will be MASSIVE.

Just lose the ego and remove it from M+ and prevent the outrage for once.

I’ve noticed a lot in The War Within actually that the Shadowlands dev team is back in full force with the “we know better than our players” mantra. Ignoring us about covenants cost you 65% of your players base in 12 months and FF14 became the number 1 MMO until Dragonflight. Dragonflight dev team did well to listen to players and bring the game back to life. Now you are just lighting all that good will on fire with endless bad changes like destroying Mythic plus season 1, and now Season 2 as well if you don’t start listening.

Every Quazii video and same with Automatik Jak they have explicitly asked multiple times to REMOVE the mine cart event as it will ruin the dungeon in Mythic +

LISTEN to us. We know better than Blizzard because WE play the game.

My main worry as we get closer to testing is how are the mobs in the event going to count to percentage? Either they won’t count, which then like why even do it? Or they are going to be required and need to pull extra while in the dark.

The bigger surprise from the Quazii video is that if you wipe to The Darkness, you have to do the very long escape RP again.

Skipping the mine cart RP escort shinanigans would be a welcomed change in M+. Make it like the cart in SV, click the cart and hop past the escort like Quazii suggests.

If the cart moved faster, and never ran out of light (so you didn’t have to go look for candles) this might be ok?

I just find it unlikely they remove it completely, but there are paths to make it not miserable and also faster.

They should address everything in Quazii’s video or else that PC Gamer interview means nothing.
