As Title says,
I would really personally prefer to not have weekly hand-outs.
Gearing up alts just became a weekly quest!
Can we please not have this in the game.
Loot should feel special and be earnt the good ol fashioned way.
No Hand outs please for goodness sake.

The drop rate is actually pretty low according to my friends who did it on PTR. So at best its just a lucky chance to actually get tier.
Players: Put more Tier pieces on the Reals vendor, so I can gear up alts for [insert current raid tier].
Also Players: Remove this item that lets me get Tier pieces from a box, because it makes gearing up too easy.

There’s no conflict.
One statement is wanting to let players catch up, to play the new content and earn rewards.
One statement is wanting to not remove the incentive to play the new content.
They’re aligned. In both cases, people want playing the new content to be the end goal.

It’s fine. Once in a rare while you’ll get a piece, no big deal. Actually kinda nice because you can choose which tier you get. But it’s only one, so not crazy free loot. And considering how much tier dropped in Naxx, it won’t matter after two weeks anyway.
Don’t worry about other people getting weekly tier. Focus on yourself and your raid team. Mind your own business. If you don’t want the reward to be given out, it’s simple - don’t take it. Skip it. Focus on yourself and mind your own business and you will be a lot happier in game and in real life.
But I need to constantly cry to the devs about players possibly theoretically gaining an advantage over myself in the made up parsing competition!

Can you explain what this is for those not on ptr
On the ptr there is a weekly quest from the new area (I think from turning in crafting/gathering stuff) that gives a loot box (like the real crates). The loot box has a chance to drop a quest item you can use to turn in 1 piece of crafted gear into 1 piece of corresponding p8 tier.
I mean…you’re still going to have the most optimal way to get Scarlet Tier being ‘doing the Scarlet raid’.
This’ll mainly be a ‘for the alts to do’ thing, while you raid on your main.
PS: People have begged Blizzard to increase the number of Tier Tokens dropped during each Raid tier when they came out. So, realistically, all Blizzard did was preemptively do so.
It’s fine, this is the finale, let players have fun (and look like they work at a medieval McDonalds).

Funny thing is I like a few of the recolors but yeah some of them are not it.

I do hope for actual Classic+ we get actual new tier sets though. Not just recolors. The Turtle WoW 3.5 sets look pretty good and Classic-like.

I think they should adjust its drop rate with the phase progression. 0% on first 2 weeks, and then slowly increase it up to 100% on the end of the phase for catch-up for new players.
0% first 2 weeks
25% 3-4 weeks
50% 5-6 weeks
75% 7-8 weeks
100% 9+ weeks
Orr let it just be 100% each week as intended
Why? Naxx was piss easy and dropped loot like candy. Do you actually expect scarlet raid to be hard? It will be just as easy. Everyone and their mother has full T3. It’s not the sign of skill you think it is.
Can you also use the Crusader Chalice to get T3 or is it only for the new Scarlet Raid tier sets?
Now why not just add a vendor every tier that gives all items for free? The people that want to do the raid and loot can and simply not buy the gear, however everyone else can just get bis for not playing the raid at all.
Actually, yes, to some degree. The new dungeons/raids added have had more encounter depth than any of the reused raids (even with the varying HM mechanics added).
I’d expect a return to a difficulty comparable with ST/Gnomeregan which were harder than any of the 60 raids.
