Uneeded ability since we will be chain lightning spamming due to so many Maelstrom Stacks
You only get a ton of MW stacks on AoE because of Crash Lightning. Removing it would make you sit there doing your single target rotation for 12-15 seconds until you get to shoot a MW5 Chain Lightning, and then you go back to your regular rotation.
It also serves as filler in ST. Removing it would add downtime.

Please ignore the OP. Crash lightning is my absolute favourite spell in the entire game. Its a freaking powerhouse of a spell. I would be devastated if we lost it.
Edit: Does Tuono know that each target hit with Chain Lightning now buffs your next crash lightning by 20% for each target hit?

Wish they’d give Ele a version of it. Even if it was just the thunderstorm animation. Ele has like no iconic flashy spells… Tornado hurricane firestorm… Or anything… But no, we get to throw meatballs like some mage who never learned to cast a fireball correctly. I don’t feel like a master of the elements. I don’t even think I could make rain…

Crash Lightning is the best ability that a Shaman has, at least visually. If Blizzard took it away, I’d probably stop playing this toon. Its the coolest thing to be able to literally call down lightning from the sky. Definitely adds to the lore that a Shaman calls the elements and they obey her.

I stopped playing shaman for a long time after they stripped earth shock from us. I am still trying to get it to come back.
