Hello, how do I disable the numeric cooldown numbers that appeared on my actionbar buttons after this patch? Was not a change I wanted or asked for.
Cooldown Manager is already disabled.

If you don’t have any add-ons modifying your action bars, there is a setting in the Options > Gameplay > Action Bars at the bottom to toggle CD numbers.
It is off already and has always been off.

This may be an issue with Bartender; investigating that. Anyone seeing this who is not using Bartender?
Either Bartender directly or Blizzard broke an API/caused a regression that you can see in Bartender.
Would be interesting to see if other bar addons such as Dominos are affected.
Me, I dont use BT and have the same problem. Only addon I use is weakauras
I have this problem and dont use any ui addon, only weakauras.
It’s happening on weakaura icons that track cooldowns as well. Until yesterday, I had no default CD appear on them, I use OmniCC for cooldown tracking.
Now, everything including these same weakauras are showing my OmniCC numbers like they should, but also the Blizzard CD numbers in the middle of the icons.
Not what I wanted, nor have had for years. Something broke, and it needs to be fixed.

Update OmniCC. This is in their changelog for a version released today.
(Retail) OmniCC will now check GetHideCountdownNumbers and skip displaying text where the value is set to false. This should prevent double text.

Great; now we just need a Bartender fix.
I did update it, but it caused the CD numbers to disappear from everything else I track on Weakauras and Bartender. I had to revert back for now, and yes it overlaps with the Blizzard CD numbers, but I can live with that for now because OmniCC has custom visual stuff I rely on.
The real issue, is why are Blizzard’s CD numbers appearing when the option for that is turned off in the settings?

For Bartender4 users:
They are taking their time on a fix; you can fix it yourself while you wait. Open up the file (Notepad is fine):
interface/addons/bartender4/lib/libactionbutton-1.0/libactionbutton-1.0.lua, line 1956
Modify
self.cooldown:SetHideCountdownNumbers(false)
To:
self.cooldown:SetHideCountdownNumbers(true)
Confirmed working on my end once I did this.

I’m still getting the cooldown numbers on bag items (like the Hearthstone) and character-pane equipped items (like trinkets / tinkers) but I can live with that unless someone finds another fix.
