All they really are is a premade cesspool. You don’t need them for pve. They’re exploited for premade epic bg’s. They have no other purpose but to make the game unbearable for anybody not in one. Guilds do this too but its not near as bad as Communities.
nah. i love the community im in. sometimes i have to Q premade just to get a daily win cuz these other pugs do zero damage, they have 0 kills 20 deaths and just dont press their buttons or try… its very annoying.
win or lose… i at least know if i play with the homies they will TRY… thats too mnuch to ask for garbage booger eating pugs most the time
Even if they removed communities it wouldn’t matter and premades would still happen.
Communities are fine. Whats needed is to remove the deserter crap.
That way if you get stuck in a premade you can just leave no penalties
Or just offer a surrender button . Premades dont get to smash
Communities arent the problem, it’s the synced premade queues that are. Blizzard just needs to break synced premade queue, which they can do in plenty of ways.
-
Enable cross faction BGs. Horde can now be placed on the Alliance team and Alliance can now be placed on the Horde team.
-
Prohibit sync queue, but give premades the ability to queue as a raid group in a separated queue from solo/party queuers. To solve backfill issues for premades, give solo/party queuers the option to serve as backfill for premade games.
Both can be implemented to effectively get rid of synced premade queues.
Option one adds another layer of protection against synced premade queues because of the possibility that you’ll be fighting against your friends if you’re attempting to sync a queue. Not to mention, it’s just better for the game overall to have cross faction queues as there will be way faster queues.
Option two provides premade communities the outlet to queue in a raid group and not at the expense of pug players (solo/party queuers). For pug players, the option to serve as backfill for premade games can also potentially give them faster queues, as you’re effectively placed in two queues (normal and premade). If the queue times are slow even with that, then that just gives you the answer that big premades aren’t as popular as people say they are.
I get what you’re saying.
However, when people ask how Blizzard would be able to identify premade raiders in epic bgs, there’s a simple answer if there are Communities:
What a coincidence that 25+ players in the SAME COMMUNITY ended up in the SAME EPIC BG! And it keeps happening! They drop the same queues and only take synced queue pops. If only there was an easy way to identify these premade raiders…
I think they haven’t done anything about queue syncing because there are those within the sanctum sanctorum who still cling to the idea that getting a full raid into a bg against pugs is “playing with friends” and should be rewarded, while those who solo queue will decide to play the game right by forming full raids to “play with friends” if only their experience is bad enough.
LOL just go make friends lord
They just need a solo queue for randoms at this point - we’ve hit critical mass where just about every game is a premade blowout
3 random bgs so far, 2 of them had 5 man premade, the other 1 had 4 crowns on the enemy team which means at least 3 teams (whether duos, trios etc unknown).
Of course our team didn’t have any…
Find a better community maybe, if you cant beat them join them?
Im in multiple on different characters and its great to be able to chat with multiple friends join groups together and more in one spot regardless of realm we are on.
“I dont use them, therefore, no one does and they should be removed.”
This was not what was said at all. In fact very specifically the OP refers to people using them as the problem. Not sure what you thought you were saying here, but im sure being openly dismissive made you feel better
Its just wrong. If everybody was on an even playing field, you’d win a lot more games and you wouldn’t need this bs advantage. People constantly look for ways to get easy wins. Even if it’s toxic to the game.
These are the same lemmings that think it’s somehow fun to form huge raids in pvp zones just for the purpose of preventing individual players from completing their daily quests. You can’t even get sparks in a raid. They literally do it just to be disruptive. It’s somehow funny to them. Piling 10 players vs 1 individual actually gets these people off. It has ZERO to do with “community” or “playing with friends”, it’s just a group of low moral character human beings griefing the game. Because THATS’s what’s fun to these people.
Does hiding on a Classic alt make you feel better?
Removing communities in WoW won’t have the effect you want. At least not when gaming as a whole is community-centric and Discord is where the meat and potatoes lies.
What you want is “solo queue”
i mean if you really want to remove communities you could just inv ahrily to every single one and shed disband them for you free of charge .
Ive been in this game since Vanilla beta. We didn’t have Communities then. It was just a normal back and forth. Sometimes you did well, sometimes you got wrecked. Back then it was just either R&G, or you were on a one faction dominated battle group. I had a lot less difficult time winning bg’s. Premades existed then too, however it was nothing like the way it is now. Now, most epic bg’s are premades.
Just heal better 5head
You think removing communities will stop organized play?
Heh are you dumb?
Ever heard of discord
