Blizzard chill streak IS NOT FUN… Pro players can avoid this easy remove chill streak and give obliterate and frost strike 200% dmg increase in PvP to make us inline with other classes

I do think that the chill streak goes are not rewarding in a lot of match ups where classes can easily move 6 yards and break the burst. It could be as simple as adding more range on the ability or making chill streak baseline and give us something more significant. Also obliterate and frost strike still hit like noodles when they don’t proc even after 2% buff.

If we make it base line that doesnt help it’s still in the game unless they nerf it. If obliterate and frost strike dmg was increased by 200% at least in PvP we would be fine and inline with all other classes

agreed, i think it being baseline would be for the best. it’s a fun ability to use on trash, which it feels like it was designed for, but like, it’s a pvp only ability. so you can only use it in warmode where it feels nice.

During beta testing I left multiple rounds of feedback about removing frozen pulse and adding chill streak to that row. Way more fun to use. No reason for 2 passives.
I really wish they had implemented that and icecap shooting frostwhelps+stat buff. I miss my mini dragons.

This would actually work if avalanche did better single target and scythe mass aoe.
Avalanche would likely have to flat buff howling blast in order to compete with streak at all but with that being done its possible you could see all 3 used in a healthy way

And please, please, dont make chillstreak good in pvp if you make it baseline. Please just have it be like passive cleave i just toss out whenever if i choose to not take avalanche

I’d wager to rework Chill Streak into a completely different ability with similar functionality than completely remove it. Like it does Frost Damage to a target and if the target doesn’t have anyone to jump to, it applies 8 remaining stacks of CS that either jumps to another target or deals yet additional Frost Damage, consuming a stack and check if there is another target to jump to deal another Frost Damage that consumes another bouncing stack.
It’s actually a QoL change now that I think about it.
Lv 35 talents just needs a rework too, rework Avalanche into both a passive and an active ability that increases Rime HB as a Snow Avalanche and an AoE execute that calls down the Slab Avalanche, MC and Shadowfrost SR. Making Frostscythe and Freezing Pulse baseline as Pulse gives different bonuses based on weapon selection.
A bit too much on a power budget but hey, ret and boomies exist as well as Fire Mages have abilities that ignores GCDs. God I want Unholy Presence back too now

I mean, I enjoy chill streak. It just shouldn’t be one of the biggest defining parts of our class in PvP.
Leave chill streak alone, buff our main tool-kit.
I would love our class to see a refreshing re-work but lets be honest that’s not going to happen during an xpac.

It could happen during the expac.
Look at Icecap in 8.3. They actually made that work! Great transition from BoS to Icecap that many people, including myself, enjoyed. 
I wouldn’t consider making a talent viable the same at a spec re-work

Dunno dude, killed so many people in BGs with it. Literally was 1v5 at BET today, I died sure, Chill Streak killed 2 of them though.
Chill streak doesn’t need to be removed at all - we just need it to not be our only source of damage

I’ve seen people at ilvl 140 in bgs. 20k hp. Sure u could probably 1v3 these players but it don’t mean jack . Please don’t base arguments on bg heroism pls.
I’m not elitist at all but u would realise that even at my scrub 1.4k ratings I seen people in 35k + hp pools in arenas.
And somehow to enter RBGs it’s either u try to pug to get into one or have to be carried by paying to get 2.2k or so.
Never liked the idea of paying to get rating or gear so I’ll keep trying to pug rated bgs. U may get lucky and get into some. You would realise that in RBGs there’s more coordination and people are not going to try to crowd around you just to get chillstreaked. Very situational usage.

the death pact and wraithwalk row also sucks, wraithwalk should be baseline, having to pick between 2 really important options on one talent row while other classes don’t have to sucks really bad.
