What, you think a dude that ordered the Ebon Blade to fight their way into the Paladin order hall in an attempt to raise Tirion as a Horseman is trying now turn them into “generic paladin faction”? This guy is about getting a job done and not giving a single “f” about what others think of his tactics.
Reminds me of Illidan in many ways.

Get rid of him. Not only is the player the confirmed leader of the Ebon Blade and having him come in and take control is stupid, but he’s a former Lich King. The Ebon Blade was created to oppose those. Also, I don’t like being made to do personal errands for his Alliance daughter because ol’ daddy got a bit weepy eyed.

They did, Arthas died, when Bolvar took control of the Helm of Domination, it was only to keep the scourge at bay. But Bolvar himself was not bloodthirsty to kill alliance or horde people, he wanted just the scourge be contained
That is why he’s not crazy when he got his helm removed
It was the ebon blade themselves that decided to work with the Lich King during the DK class hall campaign

And a primary purpose of the Ebon Blade was keeping him in check. Not put him in charge. The Four Horsemen planned to kill him if he ever went too far.

And he didn’t did he now? Bolvar has always been a good guy because he’s no longer bound to the helm, finally freed from being prisoner
At the end of the Shadowlands, he’s not going to be a lich king anymore because the helm is gone

Yes, the players being Order Hall leaders has to be canon, since there is dialogue about it in expansions after Legion.

That thumbnail script for the next expansion is looking hype.
And they were going to. Before SL started Bolvar’s strange actions drew their suspicions that he was falling to evil. The Ebon Blade knights were fully intending to go murder him before it began, even knowing they’d likely die or be enslaved.
As it turns out that was part of Bolvar’s plan to get them there to kill Sylvanas who he thought was trying to become the Lich Queen. But the Ebon Blade didn’t know that.
Now though Bolvar is not the Lich King anymore, he has zero control over them or the Scourge. So it’s fine for them to be pals now.
That isnt canon.

Still believe that the helm will be reforged but without the Jailer’s corruptive influence. There will also be masses of wandering undead because there will always be necromancers and death on Azeroth. If not, I’d like the Scourge story to be dealt with respectfully.
