Perfect example is No 3 Arms Warrior on ladder, 2800 in Blitz while being 1300 48% WR in 3s, complete joke.
All it takes is a lucky winstreak and you get carried to the top.

Blitz is an utter meme, it’s so RNG nothing depends on you, you either get the bad streak, or the good streak, or just dwindle with wins and losses in a row and get stuck in MMR hell.
At this point blitz is just a version of random BG where not only alliance wins

Blitz is fun. Yea irs rsndomness rewards you and punishes you but you can make the best out ld it. You can single handlely win or lose I bg by yourself (ive done both lel)

Also do you think everyone whos at the top in blitz is gonna have background in arena? A solo mode is probably attracting players who for whatever reason nevee bothered with arena or even rss
Why do you care though? Does it really bother you that more people have access to rewards? Do you feel like yours are worth less feel good points because of it?
Fortunately blizzard is driven by metrics and there are a massive amount of more players in blitz than 3s. So if anything, you’re closer to the chopping block.
It’s the opposite actually. Blitz is the first mode that is entirely based on skill. Not only does it require more awareness (8v8 as opposed to 3v3) but it also has another dimension of playing objectives and more dynamic map features than arena players have ever had to consider. Arena was never about skill.
It was always largely about your ability to socialize and network. Solo queue modes are the only game modes that reflect who’s truly goated in this game. Arena and RBG need to be deleted from the game and any rewards/titles earned in those modes should be retroactively removed.
Nah I think its great, because for to long this community has used rating to belittle/shame other player or use it has a way to disregard their opinion which in turn got the community label as toxic causing people to shy away from protisapating in it all together.
Just to be clear I’m not saying you shouldn’t be proud of your achievement as that is an awesome in game feat to achieve. Just that to many in this community use it as an excuse to be toxic and that turns people off to pvp as a whole

So no, mate, arena is way more popular for competitive PVP, blitz didn’t make it as the new “default PVP mode”, even if you scale the numbers to accomodate for the differences in team sizes
How do you figure? They’re both at around ~49k users if you scale them.
The “average” blitz queue is around 6-10 minutes while 3v3 is typically less than a minute. You can literally slam 3v3 games through queue none stop while the blitz player is still waiting for a match. So if you go based on time invested/online. Blitz is ahead and blizzard is a business. They care about what has the most players spending the most time online.
3k blitz games (16 players, 10min avg) is less than 15k shuffles (6 players, 15min avg) in terms of total number of players participated over the same period of time (72h)

Probably plays with his real life scrub friends in 3s and doesnt care about the bracket you seem to think matters imo.
I dont like people let alone 2 of them enough to form a power team of nerds. Im ashamed I play WoW.
Blitz and Shuffle are the only thing giving this game life.

Yes because people that can’t climb past 1300 in 3s should totally receive R1 rewards because a bracket is so disgustingly rng that it artificially propped them up 1000 cr higher than they deserve.
I dont think people who play classic should be allowed on retail. You should have to choose if you want to live in the past or present.

What nonsense. I will say more, blitz is not even PvP, the winner is the one who knows how to move around the map and knows how to stall for time on the flag, no knowledge of the class is needed, no knowledge of the opponents is needed.
