Remove bg# to stop pre mades

Dont list the number of the BG people are joining…to stop 10 man 40 man pre mades

Dont mind premades, people would like to try and play with guildmates etc.
Just dont use AFK flagging to boot people not in your premade

Oh here we go. Since Blizz have made many changes so far I wouldn’t be surprised if this one also gets traction. I am fine with the annoyances and benefits of group queuing AV.

This.

Personally i would have no objection if they allowed 5 man or even raid group joining.

My only gripe is the nonsense AFK flagging people are doing to other people for non valid reasons.

If i run into a good premade, when my level allows for AV, good!
Maybe they will go old school, and try to capture things and such, instead of run past me waving on their way to Van

Grow up, some people want to play with their friends. As it stands it is nearly impossible to get into the same AV as my friends and it’s really frustrating to waste 20-30 min trying to get the same Battleground only to never succeeded. Personally, I don’t see why I should be forced to play solo when I have people to play with just because some people make full 40-man pre-mades and other people don’t like losing a battleground and aren’t willing to make friends and solve the problem themselves. The game is an MMO, if you don’t like players working together then maybe it’s the wrong type of game for you.

They hotfixed that out already.

No one would need to do that if they’d let people queue as a group, anyway. Alas, no changes.

I support removal of the numbers. They are unnecessary and it makes it too easy to exploit. If it was intended for people to join as a group then Blizzard would have allowed it to start with.

there’s nothing wrong with premades.

blizzard did allow it to start with, this is how it worked in vanilla.

#nochanges

#Nochanges
“Re-roll”

I remember hearing all these things from Horde during Phase 2 (pre BG’s)

Funny stuff.

Fenny, buddy, you need to make some friends and have them click an AV number with ya.

Should’ve rolled alliance.

go be a panda somewhere else

guilds and grouping use to be the face of the game and classic is trying to recapture that.
If you want random solo queue ,you know where to go.

You were not able to join an AV as a raid in original AV…

What does faction have to do with this? It’s insanely dumb you can’t queue with even one person.

Alliance do it all the time. Alliance is just better at PvP.

git gud

No they don’t. They may synch queues, but you can’t queue with even one other.

Removing BG # would actually only make it easier for horde to use this method! Let me explain:

In retail, when Isle of conquest launched the same premades happened on both sides, yet the pvp lfg didn’t let you Q in groups bigger than 5 and bg # weren’t shown either.

Groups would do it the same way:

  1. get a raid together
  2. get on voice chat
  3. everyone Q’s after a countdown
  4. when Q poped, if more than 3/4 of the raid got the Q at the same time we would take it

Now this method isin’t flawless, it happened once in a while that we all got Q at the same time but were actually split in 2 BGs

Point is, removing bg # doesnt change anything. People have been pypassing the group restrictions for years.

Like I said, removing the # would favor the horde over alliance as we are getting instant Q’s and it would be harder for us to know if we all have the same as 4 different could have opened at the same time.

If you’ve been in Q for 3-4min and half the raid gets a Q pop at the same time, chances are you’re all getting in the same BG

We need a different solution if you want to get rid of premades but I doubt blizzard actually cares

Yes, Alliance “synch” queue together… essentially group queuing and dropping queue when they can’t. Which means they group queue.

Sounds like horde can’t and cry about it.

I say get gud, cause horde sucks at PvP (queuing).
