Even when you compare to FF14 which people like to take example for supports specs, those specs mostly do 10-15% of their damage with their buffs and don’t offer a myriad more of utility. Personally, it always felt from the start that aug was simply another way to make people that play “game 2” not happy. They don’t even want people that willingly use dps meters to be able to track aug dps. One of the dev that worked on it and made interviews about it also quickly left Blizzard right after. The biggest joke for me is that the kind of player that would want to play this would generally in my mind be more casual, while to play augmentation well at least in raid it’s probably one of the most complexe spec.

Dancer is a well designed support RDPS. Blizzard should take notes. It isn’t broken and people love it.

IMO Augmentation should’ve been a tank spec, using bronze and black dragonflight influences to bolster your own defenses and sunder your enemies.

I don’t care what y’all say, I enjoy Aug. I don’t even do much content but what little I do, I enjoy with that spec. It doesn’t have a billion weird buttons. Everything makes sense. Did not like evokers till I tried out Aug…

Maybe blizz could give Tinker a support spec so that there will be other supp than wizard lizards…

I main Aug and would be upset at its removal. I love being able to buff my party members, and it is my favourite spec in game. So I vote for its continued existence. In fact, I vote for even more support classes so we have more flavour than just the one.
