As the title states, there are a plethora of items that give an unfair advantage to players that RMT.
For example, Pendulum of Doom or Gut Ripper are both items that costs thousands of gold and are only generally attainable by people that are using RMT. These items go for much more gold than any GDKP item and are used primarily by cheaters that swipe to do more damage.
Remove these items and make every item BOP so that we can perform on the same level.
what an out of touch comment, you can get similar strength in the raid and they only last in power to phase since the next phase will unlock a whole other set of BoEs but I do think maybe increasing drop rate bit or even allowing an area to be a farm so it concentrates the item enough to be attainable thats issue and why it goes for so much in the AH

No in all reality, what an absolutely horrible idea. Let’s just kill all trading for everyone while we are at it. No more trading anything. No more Auction House. Just remove the whole trade tab and Auction house from the game. Poor people can’t afford it apparently.

Nah, double, or even triple the drop rate of rare items, or have it possible to have similarly potent items crafted with an appropriate investment of effort.
I’ve seen pendulum of doom drop twice and I quit SoD a week ago to go back to retail. Stop being lazy and go to Uldaman.

While I understand how frustrating it can be if you feel competitive but see items that are barred from you due to it not dropping or people charging a billion gold.
The problem isn’t with BoE’s in general. The problem is competitive players wanting access to stats or on-use, on-hit effects that are not available via crafting etc.
As much as being competitive is a big part of the game for me as well, part of the whole point of Classic is that there are these random treasures and things you can do that aren’t guaranteed.
A lot of these BoEs were not made for SoD, theyre from classic. And from the mindset of the Vanilla Devs, they were not thinking about how PoD’s low drop rate would mean that in season of discovery P2 20 years later you wouldn’t be able to parse.
I appreciate the struggle, but the solution you suggest is not a good one imo

Swiper? my guy I just farm, I literally make like 15g an hour which isnt even crazy compared to some but I just get bored go into SM GY and kill mobs with my rogue. Bought the Dazzling longsword for my warrior and farmed up a staff of jordan for my mage just find a class thats good at farming you enjoy and find its nice that it can farm then sell mats/greys ect,
They should keep boe’s as they are and do a better job at game Dev. It’s super easy to make raid gear better than boe’s. If gutripper and pendulum werent better than raid gear they would be 30g like dazzling longsword, or 150 like soj. It takes the dev team looking at the data base for 10 seconds before they design loot to fix this.
Those two epics are worth less than 10% of ones op mentioned combined. Stop it, we know.
