This affix is just horrid and needs removed. Everyone expects the healer to take care of every single spawn of them and we cant. Yes DPS are supposed to help also, but most dont and just complain and get p’od at the healer.
Its made worse by the fact it constantly keeps spawning and if I have to cleans a target, either on this new healer here or another one of mine. Its same old crap. Its save a players butt or not get affix…
Its no wonder so many healers refuse to PUG during this weeks affix.
Well you can just remove it by doing under 7 keys
Your 411, and if you cant do the affix then maybe you should do like 6 keys and get Drake’s Shadowflame Crest Fragment all week and upgrade your gear

Except one player can’t deal with every and all Afflicted. All too often the other person responsible for helping out with this affix simply doesn’t do their job.
Just keep playing man.
Your teammates didn’t help you. The best runs are when I know the non-healers are helping with Afflicted.
Google what other shamans are doing to deal with the affix. Join the shaman discord. Your tantrum isn’t going to solve anything except send the wrong msg to blizz.

People comment about something they dislike about the game and players like you think its the players fault and start personally attacking said player. I posted on my Disc Priest and you without hesitation started on about gear and only do low keys…
The post was about the AFFIX… So if you got something positive to post about the affix to argue my stance on it, go for it. But attacking players for an opinion is sad and stupid.

I love this affix. It’s basically a “free” week when afflicted is part of the rotation.
Improved dispel + holy word life or serenity on an afflicted. OR, Sanctuary if they are stacked/close enough. Can also flash heal them very quickly if needed. If you have improved holy nova stacks you can pretty much 1 shot heal them with that as well. So many ways to deal with them, although I generally just dispel one and holy word life the other in lower end groups. At higher keys the DPS will dispel them for you so you can use your dispel for dungeon mechanics. 
I have 5 geared level 70s that make your rogue look ilke LFR garbage. 2 of which are now healers. Its one thing to HELP with the affix, its another thing when everyone expects you to handle it…
In an organized (non pug) group its fine. Its pugging that is the nightmare.
All I do is PUG, I have no friends/guild mates that do keys with me. All of my top 16 keys were done with complete strangers. It’s very easy to “coordinate” stuff on keys, even up to 25s. People will just know the assignment usually.
Hey I would help with Afflicted if I could but my band-aids are utterly worthless
