Why double Prot is also fun. Or Prot/Blood Dk/Resto. Don’t ruin our dreams and comp diversity.
With that said it’s super odd to complain about Triple Dps. You should be happy it’s not like boring Retail and you might get to fight something new.

3 dps queueing for 3v3 is a lot of burst, hard for a healer to handle. Especially with reset classes, you can burst a healer or dps down, then reset and do it again.
2 healers queueing for 2v2 is just plain annoying. Who wants to play like that, or against that?
I agree with OP on the 2v2 healer one, but 3 dps in 3v3 is a legit strat and should be left in the game.
All you have to do is learn to survive the initial burst and you win? Any 3s team would love to see a 3x DPS team. Its a free win if they aren’t brain dead

Easy solution, keep 2s so all the dps have a place to play otherwise you will pay the consquences. Incoming 3 rogues top of the ladder. You complained about 2s now your 3s will get decimated.
Indeed, I was explaining it to the person a few posts above me. In the end of my post, I said I think 3v3 with triple dps is fine.
a 1v1 arena is truly what we need… last man standing wins.

Ok but not every team is going to have a healer. Triple Dps vs Triple Dps is just some fun.
Dps/Dps/Healer is just boring…and one reason why Arena eventually died.
Yea it’s refreshing to see different comps. Some double Dk/Ret. etc.
Nothing should be removed from the game that’s how you end up with dead Retail. Love seeing Prots comps, Healer variations or weird Dps combos.

The worst mechanic ever added to Arena. It was supposed to be temporary. They never did fix it lol. Please just play something else. Dampening is just bad design and has no place in PvP.
People don’t play Retail PvP anymore for a reason. Keep that junk over there. Comp diversity is far more important and not having terrible bad designed mechanics.

even tho our mage in 3s yesterday got globaled for 45k fero bite vs feral hunter ret i still enjoy seeing the variety of teams queing instead of just LSP/RMP/TSG lol i faced more comps yesterday than i did all of wotlk

Bingo! I love seeing all types of odd ball comps and that is really what PvP should be about.
It’s definitely not a “free win” in 3s vs a solid 3x DPS team. Regardless of how good you are at the game. Some of the 3x DPS comps are rough for any and everyone right now.
I’m not saying they should be removed. But they def. are not “free wins unless brain dead.” lol.
