What’s the popular opinion regarding this choice node being gone?
Seems like an amazing thing for frost, awful thing for what blood could have been, and not so great for unholy.
My only question is why any spec should ever have to sit there with no buttons to press due to a lack of resource generation. The choice node and runic attentuation / horn of winter on class tree really gave us a way to play the game with a smooth rotation, but they went back on that.
Is anyone happier with these changes?

i don’t know what the popular opinion is, but i don’t really mind too much. as far as i know, corruption is bad compared to empowerment, and i play frost.

they are moving them to be baseline for frost/UH…so you will still have it, but wont have to spend a talent for it
It’s ultimately for the best that each spec have different ways to restore runes: Blood Tap for Blood, Runic Empowerment for Frost, Runic Corruption for Unholy.
With a choice node available, nobody will ever pick RC. It’s just one of those things that should be baseline and it is a very good thing they did that.
Can kinda see why this is a missed opportunity for Blood DK.
