So if you did the quest for Remnants of Valor on Tuesday you only got 1 but now it’s been changed to a weekly quest and rewards 40. If you did it already you’re stuck with one and since it’s weekly now you can no longer get the 40 amount. Way to go Blizzard

Didn’t they say that it would be infinitely farmable and that the only cap is the amount that you could upgrade the “trinket” (no longer a trinket) per week? Seems like an odd change
The quest giver doesn’t offer a quest anymore. For example the following quest said gather 20. I had that quest. It’s no longer in my quest log so I went back to the quest giver and is no longer offering the quest. Hence the thinking it’s been changed to a weekly quest and people are reporting it now rewards 40 remnants. Instead of the 1 remnant reward from yesterday.
Same thing happened to me. Hopefully it does not matter in the grand scheme of upgrading the trinket by the end of the first lockout. If it does, then it is kind of lame to be punished for playing the content early.
Blizz put the 39 tokens in my mail box already.

Cool, nothing like being a week behind the curve for being ahead of the curve. Took the orb out of my bag and the quest from my log and everything.
Same thing happened to me… I made a ticket and the GM told me there wasn’t anything they could do about it
you’re lucky they responded at all there likely isn’t a prefabricated response to your problem they could copy and paste to respond to you
I know you’re correct… just annoying… this reminds me of when they brought out duel spec and if you bought it too early you just got screwed and had to do it again and there was once again “nothing they can do”
Not getting 40 is a huge disadvantage… they need to do something about this

Dev in the warrior discord apparently said they werent going to do anything about it as a one time loss is going to be a non-issue.
That’s crazy when it cost 150 to upgrade from rank 1 to 2. Missing out on 1/3 is big
where did you find the costs ?
For those that missed out, the quest is back and now appears to be repeatable.
