At the end of Pandamonium all of our Timerunners will be converted over to the base game for TWW with “appropriate gear”.

… except, we still haven’t been told what “appropriate gear” even is, we have the ilvl and bag sizes for the prepatch event but are in the dark over our Remix characters.

Currencies (probably not but figured I’d ask all the same)?
I’m sure the bags you’ve gotten in remix will carry over. To that end, be sure to buy a full set for your characters and their banks. They’re very cheap.

That makes sense because the gear in prepatch starts at 480.

boost is 424 and in an interview the devs of remix said itll be like 420s

Yep, it’s level boost gear. 424. You’re not skipping the prepatch farm with your timerunning characters.
They really should be allowed to leave Remix when prepatch drops though 
Edit: WoWhead’s article on Remix actually says they will exit with 415 ilvl. They don’t cite anything though.

I think it will be what you get for the boosted character you get with TWW - 424.

Its pretty optional. Level 70 TWW mobs are designed for green DF questing gear in the 300s. Just depends how badly you want to overgear and blast through those first few levels.
I would have to assume that ‘appropriate gear’ refers to gear of the right or recommended item level going into the expansion. And yes, currencies aside from those directly tied to the event itself will more than likely remain as they are on your time runner at the time the event ends. Items such as the cloak, however, much like the currencies, are tied to the event itself and will more than certainly also go away.
As for personal bank bags, they will probably transition to the new system once the pre-patch hits
I wouldn’t bother with bank bags since they are being removed soon.
Eventually, we dont really have a timeframe for when that’ll happen, and they could change their mind as well (i doubt it but just stating the possibility).

Confirmed. Original announcement said shortly after Launch of TWW.
“The UI and functionality of the character-level bank will be adjusted in the future, and tabs like the Warband bank will also be adjusted. Bags will no longer be needed in the character bank when this change occurs. This change won’t alter the number of slots currently available in your bank but will shift them from bags to tabs.”
