I am unable to complete the remix version of the Explore Dread Wastes achievement. I have credit for every sub-zone except Kypari Vor (Where my character is currently standing). I have done everything to trigger this sub-zone
- I have completely filled in the map of Dread Wastes (And all Pandaria zones)
- I have walked around the area
- I have mounted and walked around the area
- I have flown around the area
- I have dragonriden around the area
- I have followed a youtube video showing me where they were when credit triggered
- I have gone to the coordinate on WoW head that signify where it triggers
- I have logged out in the area and logged back in
- I have logged onto a different retail character and then back onto this character
- I have logged onto a cata classic character and then back onto this character
- I have waited for (several now) server resets
- I have made another timerunning character and explored the area on that character
NOTHING enables this character to explore the area.
If that weren’t enough, note that there are now TWO achievements to explore the Dread Wastes; the original one found in “Exploration->Pandaria->Explore Dread Wastes” and the one newly added in remix "Remix: Pandaria->Exploration->Explore Dread Wastes’. This character was able to get the original one, but not the remix one. This leads me to believe that, for whatever reason, when I first explored Kypari Vor the game correctly updated the original achievement but failed to update the remix version. Now, as far as the game is concerned, I’ve already explored that area and so it’s not doing the check to update the remix achievement.
This is now the last achievement I need to have completed the full remix set (Excluding, obviously, the meta that requires this achievement). While I can, of course, just do this on my alt to get account completion, my intention was to have this be my “do it all” character, and it’s immensely frustrating to be prevented from that goal by a hurdle this trivial after the grind to get this far.
