I went to wowhead and all the comments apply to the regular version of the game which states you need to complete ‘Mogu at the Gates’ first before you can complete the quest Challenge Accepted.
I went to the area and I could see the dialog as other people were completing the quest but the NPC wasn’t there for me, even though the quest area was marked on the map.
I can’t find the NPC that starts Mogu at the Gates. He’s not at the gates and he’s not in the Shadowlands area, either. Why can I pick up a quest that doesn’t have the prerequisites met? I can’t find Chromie to see if switching back and forth will fix it, either.
Edit: The remix character I was playing was a Monk. I hadn’t been doing the training and decided to do that since I had hit this wall in questing. After completing all the training available, I got a final quest to talk to Dezco at the gates. It wasn’t ‘Mogu at the Gates’, though. It was a monk specific quest and all of the spirits like the Crane, Tiger, etc. were there and they opened the gates. Once I turned that in, I could go back and do Challenge Accepted.
i have the same problem right now. the flag is supposed to be in the camp nearby but if i get near it, the camp phases and it becomes a horde camp. if i move away, i can see some people in there doing the quest but i cant do it.
i’ve tried following this support article with no luck:
Blizzard Support - Can’t Complete Kun-Lai Summit Quest - Challenge Accepted (battle.net)
no Mogu at the Gates quest
no zidormi to change phases either
to be clear this in wow remix

So i’m sure you’ve likely moved past this by now but just to post about it for anyone in the future…
I’ve since created another character and didn’t have the problem. It appears to be caused by doing quests out of order. aka. doing some quest hubs that would have come after this quest. Making sure to do the main campaign quest line first avoids this from happening - at least thats been my experience on other characters in remix.
What I did to get past it on my first toon that had this issue is basically stand away from the camp so I could see people entering to do it. I quick sent them a whisper and asked if they could pull the mob away from the camp so I could tag it. That got me the kill credit and I turned in the quest.
