I have a 70 Paladin in retail that I want to main for midnight. In remix I have an 80 monk and 170% xp buff, but idk if its worth waiting til WoW anniversary next month and lvling my pally from 70-80 or remaking it in remix and lvling it there?
Any thoughts?
Each character leveled in remix adds a considerable amount to the +%xp
Especially if you clear their research bar, hit 80, then reset and clear it again. With 4x I’m sitting at 390% and have stopped playing the ones that already got their deathless M TOV done.
Speed wise retail will be faster. But it’s your personal preference
Do you think retail would be faster without the anniversary xp buff or only with it?

For only one character, they’re about equal. If you have any plans to do more than one, remix all the way. Midnight prepatch won’t be as fast but will still be a very easy way to level too.
As someone who is just starting Remix and doesn’t know any of the exact tricks, can you explain what you mean when you say to reset the research bar? I’ve been doing research for my first day and I’m at 12/12
Good point. I might do mage too. Wasn’t planning on doing a ton of alts or obv Remix is the better option
When you hit 80, M gives you a quest that allows a bunch more research to be taken, like 12/18.
You can do raids in remix while you level. The bosses give a ton of xp.
Remix has more players playing.
You will also earn tons of bronze.
It is just efficient to do remix and earn the rewards.
