I do.
The problem is impatience and entitlement.
People were just handed a full roster of 70s on a platter and it’s not enough because they have to wait ~a month.

I feel like this could’ve been at most three sentences
It’s beyond my understanding, honestly.
You put 1 & 2 together, and you’ve got an airtight “if the customer don’t like it, it’s their problem”.
Also, it’s gonna take like two - three hours for someone to level a character to max during pre patch. So these complaints are just silly no matter what
I mean, I agree it’s been lasting too long. But I also have to concede that this might be better for people to do alts with, or people who sub late since the expansion is up and coming. So idk.
Yes. And for the last time, we knew about this since June 8th. People had well over a month to relevel something. If they wanted to play a new character for prepatch that badly, they’ve had over a month to do so by now, and still another 9 days to do so.
And we have known since the beginning of Remix your character was locked to Remix until the end of the event, no surprise there. We also knew that TWW was going to release in the summer from the road map, so no surprise there.
Prepatch is a limited time event, one that would be over by the time MoP toons are allowed to play it.
So I think the impatience is a bit justified on this matter.
I genuinely do not care about the June 8th thing. I’m sorry, but the fact is that MoP Remix started on May 16th, before we knew about the expansion release date and before we knew when the prepatch would be.
Except OP admitted to resubbing 2 weeks ago so they actually had every piece of information available to them.
And everyone else had the information since June 8th. So I genuinely don’t care people are frustrated over their refusal to level a character for prepatch if they want a new character for prepatch.
Prepatch can be enjoyed on any retail character. You don’t need to do it on a Remix toon. You don’t need to do it on every 70 that you have. Nothing will prevent them from sliding seamlessly into TWW.
You think OP is the only person who played MoP Remix?
Nobody said anything about needing to.
Thats not how it works buckarooo other people have to rate it so ill go first …
10/10
im in the same boat as you with as i want to play mage in tww and my mage is currently stuck in remix. I really want to do everything on him includijg prepatch but apparently theres some serious overlap and i eont get a chance to play him until a few days away from tww launch. I HATE THAT. Remix ahouldve just lasted until warband and talent changes hapoened which is july 23. At least give us the chance to do the prepatch with out newlt loved remix characters.
Big L on blizz for that one.
To repeat myself
If you’re still frustrated over this after having plenty of time to get over it and level a new character, that’s entirely on you.
Eh? I’m logging in to run things like Siege and upgrade my ilevel for funsies for another month, so that I can be one of those who carries people to help them out with the things they want to finish.
It’s fun to ramp up the gear and be OP. That’s part of why Remix exists.
Unless you’ve already fully upgraded every single Remix character?
Retail includes pre-patch. I, like most people, hoped that pre-patch would start when ReMix ended but that is not how things turned out. I get being disappointed but we were not deceived or mislead about the nature of ReMix. I made a choice to make characters on ReMix without knowing when pre-patch or the launch date for TWW. You also made that same choice, what I did not decide to do is use these characters to be a new main or part of my core alts because I did not have all the information on when they would be usable before TWW came out.
We do have to take some responsibility for our choices. Are you really trying to say it never crossed your mind what you would do if you got bored of ReMix or if pre-patch came out before ReMix was done?
Why are people so concerned with playing prelaunch with their Remix characters?
All of that gear is Warbound.
So we run prelaunch event on Retail characters and then when our Remix characters are ported over, we yoink the gear from the Warbank and bam, dun.
I seriously doubt the influx of max level toons from remix being one date vs another will make any difference. Whether someone takes a toon out of remix now or later, what possible difference in impact on retail could that have that it wouldn’t have had when remix ends anyway?
In fact, the impact remix will have on retail (if any) will be far greater when remix ends vs then people transferring them individually on an adhoc basis beforehand.
What’s also funny is leveling is so easy, I’ll never understand why people are concerned with ‘having x ilvl before the gates open’.
Any gear you acquire during prepatch is gonna get replaced in a few levels anyways.
Like, it straight up does not matter. If your leveling experience is so greatly modified by 15 ilvls, it’s a you problem
Sweetheart, I don’t know how clearer I can make this:
If I spent time leveling 5-6 toons on MoP Remix, I’m not going to level another on retail. If the participation in the event is what matters to me, then I’ll just play on my max level toon not attached to MoP.
The issue here is that people have toons they leveled well before having all the information about the expansion release date and prepatch, and they want to play those toons during prepatch. Your solution isn’t a solution. It’s a deflection that refuses to recognize that Blizzard may be partially responsible for the issue by not being entirely communicative about start dates on the outset.
There’s no such thing as taking responsibility for your actions when Blizzard didn’t give us the full scope of the timeline.
Like, this doesn’t really affect me. I didn’t play MoP Remix as much as I had planned because of real life issues, but I find it crazy that nobody is capable of at least holding Blizzard slightly responsible for this instead.
Starting to look like people that would have taken a break if Remix wasn’t around would have been better served by just taking that break. ![]()
I dont want my Remix character to be OP, and I never really enjoyed it when I got carried by others’ OP toons in dungeons. I wanted to actually play my Remix character. Maybe 1 out of 5 dungeons I got to do that… But now that he’s 70 I feel no desire to log on to him in order to be OP myself
I already explained myself in regards to this. We’re just saying it’s been too long.
Thanks, /salute
Uhm well in regards to this I just don’t really have a retail character that I want to do the prepatch stuff on. I’d much prefer to do it on my new main, who’s stuck in Remix.
But when the pre-patch arrives, or before then, you could make the exact same spec and class and just level it to max in a few hours. And then you’ll have a month of prepatch
