I’ve done all three available invasion points so far, the greater invasion point, and looted a few treasure chests since picking up this quest, but none have dropped the quest item. Either the drops are bugged or the quest wasn’t intended to be available.

Same - not completable as far as I can tell.
I also picked up The Ruins of Oronaar, which I believe is a mission table mission that also cannot be completed.

Yeah I mean, Garothi Worldbreaker was impossible to loot in Antorus if you didn’t get him fast enough as he died, which is an amplified version of an already-existing issue, and the doggos of Sargeras didn’t drop any loot at all, so this phase was totally tested well.

It may sound silly, but make sure you aren’t accidentally in a raid group. You can’t do quests when in a raid group. I honestly do it all the time.
yes, zero pristine Argunite! I’ve done 7 invasions, opened every single box I’ve seen, killed rares, all afternoon. Absolutely nothing! Please fix this bliz

Same here. What’s even more frustrating is the fact that if one mob dropped 50 of these items, they would nerf it in 5 minutes, a real bug that stops player progression? Nah, they’ll just put that on the back burner for next phase.
Whomever is in charge of prioritizing and assigning bugs to be fixed needs to be fired because they clearly don’t know what they’re doing. ANY bug that effects player experience should be considered a showstopper and given the highest priority. How does Blizz not understand this, it’s developer training 101 and it’s that way in every industry!

Still bugged after the latest hotfix. Pristine Argunite very likely is not even in the loot table.
So many poorly implemented things in this shabby Bugmix.

I am here for the majority of this, between the Mission table quest, the dogs in Antorus, but I have got 3/50 Pristine Argunite. I have done all the quests, picked up treasures, done the invasions, and greater invasion. Something has to give @Blizzard

same issue today 11/19/2025. the object doesn’t even appear in loot bags. I mean, if you have auto loot on you might miss it. But, I don’t have autoloot on and there are absolutely zero argunite dropping. It appears it was not fixed.

I’ve just had 50 drop from each quest today. Haven’t tried invasion points etc today yet.
edited….I tell a lie, I only have 8 Pristine… I was looking at Veiled.
You need to completer the Fuel of the Doomed World quest first before taking “The Ruins of Oronaar” quest. Just found the best way to get the Argunite is killing the elite rares and getting chests. as soon as your done the Ruins quest will automatically skip and you can move forward. Happy hunting all!
Not sure if it was hotfixed but I was able to complete this quest yesterday. Rares and chests in the Argus zones dropped the items for me.
Seems both this and Ruins of Oronaar were hotfixed yesterday.
I don’t think either of them were actually related to getting the other to work. It’s usually coincidence when someone’s on doing something they’ve heard is broken that was fixed right before they tried again to see it working.
Not sure why but rares are not giving me any at all. I’ve killed about 10 of them and only got crystals from a chest. Seems like it’s not exactly fixed IMO
