So I was wondering. I bought the epic edition so i can play on 22nd August.
Now do remix characters get transferred that day or do I have to wait till 26th.
Probably a stupid question but I just put so many hours into levelling this remix toon. So wondering.
Remix ends on the 19th.
My guess is they will get ported to retail on Aug 20th tuedsay reset, giving us a week (or 3 days for early access) to get them rdy.
It would be nice if they just gave us a full set of the Dalaran defenders 480 gear, but knowing blizz itll be the green, non-upgradable “boosted toon” garbage.
Aren’t they making the remix toons start at level 10 with level appropriate blues and 100G?
No they’ll be whatever level they were when remix ended, max level toons will have a gear boost, probably the equivalent to whatever a boosted character gets.
I know but that’s not fun.
Eh, your idea would have defeated the entire purpose of leveling multiple characters in remix. If the characters didn’t transfer over at max level Remix would have not been as popular.

start a new alt and get heirlooms and mail them 100g?
Everyone’s gear will be replaced the first day, from remix characters to 480 gear to fully-kitted out Mythic players like me.
The gear you walk into a new expansion with is totally irrelevant. I’ve vendored all my gear at the start of gearing in an expansion, and leveled naked. It’s still very easy and fast.
They’ll be the level they are in Remix. So if you only leveled to 32, they’ll be 32 in “level appropriate gear” when they’re ported over to Retail.
My idea was to make people believe that they had leveled several alts in vain. Now you’ve ruined that.

I really hope we’ll get the Dalaran defenders gear. It would be cool if it get’s upgraded based on your cloak level.
The Pre-Expansion event gear is “Bind to Warband Until Equipped”, so just collect a set or two and leave it in the Warband Bank for when your Timerunners transfer to Live.

What happens when I ported out of Pandaria? What happens to my gear? I am planning to leave Pandaria as soon as I reach level 70 and play Dragonflight onwards before TWW. Is that possible? Thanks.
That’s not possible. Your remix character is stuck in Remix until it ends on the 19th. They won’t be available until reset on the 20th most likely. When remix ends all remix exclusive items will be removed and you will be granted a gear boost of some kind, probably around the same as a boosted character if the character is lvl 70.
Nope. Characters in Remix can’t leave until Blizzard releases them once Remix ends.

Ouch. All I would do then is collect tons of Bronze to obtain all the awesome Pandarian TMogs. All I want was to reach level 70. All of those gear would be restarted in TWW.
The Pre-patch is all about Remix which is in another World… Pandaria with Skyriding.
Remix was always advertised that your characters will be stuck there until the event ends. It even tells you this when you go to select Timerunner in Character Creation. This information was given to us months before we got a PrePatch date.
