As Pandaria Remix is fast approaching, I have a question regarding character names.
I have a couple of characters on live that I have for reserving names. The question is, when I create a remix character, will I be able to use the reserved name or would I have to delete the character before creating the new one on remix?
If so, I’m fine with that but only if the remix character once transferred over to live will keep the name and not force me to rename it.
If not, then still, it would be fine because if I’m forced to rename it, then I can simply delete the reserve name character before renaming the transferred character.
Just trying to see how many or fewer steps would be needed. TIA
The remix characters are just essentially on a phased version of retail. So for example if I wanted to make another velf hunter on moonguard, I wouldn’t be able to name it Anadisong since this character exists. If you want to use a name you have l already on that server just delete that character to make the time running one.
New characters for remix will be on retail servers but they will be phased on a timerunning phase.
At the end of remix, our time running characters will merge to retail.
