PSA when you log into a former Remix alt their action bars will be reset. Really wish Blizz had just removed the gem abilities and kept the bars in order!

Funny it remembered my bag settings. I had one for equipment and one for consumables.
Not just action bars, it reset your talents as well. I got reset back to default talents. Didn’t save my builds on any of my timerunners cause I didn’t know this would happen. Now i gotta redo all my builds from scratch.

I was told it is, effectively, like pressing the gear update button on a long-neglected alt. If that is the case, expect your toon to be effectively reset talents and action bars included.
Mine reset too, darn. I do wish it stayed the same.
Like why. I mean bars ok I can remember kinda but they straight up have diff talents chosen. I’m dumb don’t do things like that. They did let us keep more items via our mail and kept my timeless coins and lesser charms too.

Today I’m thankful I’m an altoholic and keep talents / bars / bindings / macros all saved (and updated per patch) so that I can quickly restore to a character.

How do you save yours? And if I save them now before I log into a Remix character, think it’ll save what I had?
Talent loadout? Didn’t those save or did they wipe them as well?
Bars/keybinds mostly.

It is exactly. And that feature sucks so bad.
Major bullet point for the next Remix: Implement some way to export actionbars. ALL of them. FFS, have to even drag out dragonriding abilities on every single spec.

I swear there was an addon that could do this. I could be wrong but this sounds like something I’ve seen somewhere.

I’m just going to save the character folders and after I log out of the ones I’m keeping, I’ll try putting back in the old version to see if it works.
I don’t think addons are allowed to change what’s on actionbars, only the way they are displayed.
Because hunter pet bars have had this problem forever.
