Reminder that WoW has the only PVP with zero limitations on Stealth

Literally every single other PVP game in the universe (including WoW itself back in vanilla) has limitations on Stealth.

Be it a limited duration with a CD (like Mage invis), or damage reduction, or movement speed reduction, or limited use of abilities, etc.

Rogue stealth is just out of control the way it works now. Blizzard needs to take a serious look at it during the Rogue revamp and tone it down. Return the 70% snare while stealthed, remove all of those CDRs and extra Vanish charges from Sub, and compensate them in another way to make up for it.

The ability to be completely invisible to all your enemies NEED to come with some sort of limitation.

Also, consider bringing back abilities like Faerie Fire and make the arena see stealth eye not completely worthless.

Sub presents many problems but I don’t typically think of being able to stealth forever as one of them. If you lose to a sub rogue perma stealthing in a true arena cause his team died thats kinda on you. Ban sub rogues tho.

Remember when stealth made you move slowly lol, now it can speed you up and heal you.

Don’t forget druids. It might be fine if they could only open with it but they both have abilities that lets them slip back into steatlh and then shadowmeld on top of it.

Vanish/Shadow dance does, for all 3 specs.

I’ll oil wrestle any Rogue main, state law.

if u take the talent and its really not a big heal at all not like your perma stealth healing to full unless your waiting crimson vial and by that logic youve already lost the 2v3

I mean really you can, maybe the solution is to make rogues unhealable by healers while in stealth.

Yeah honestly stealth isn’t as impactful as it used to be, so having it slow your movement was something that was hindering the player experience…so they removed it. Like you stealth to do what, essentially just sap and open with cheap shot, right? Beyond that, the mechanic itself is pretty lacking, very little depth with it at this point in WoW.

Some lobbies (yes i know RSS is a meme) the rogue doesn’t even start with stealth and they can still squeeze/cheese out a win through the sheer amount of burst they have. Sounds like a design problem to me honestly. Stealth should matter beyond your Vanish cooldown.

Fried take homie. and def feel like your missing the point, if a rogue is sitting in stealth “healing to full” youve already won the game if u take advantage of that. you should never auto win by targetting only one person the whole game. you get cds u switch, unless u have pressure to kill through the cds. its why i never understood the whole, “who we going” in solo shuffle and w hy i personally hate the game mode. i feel like getting locked into that kind of style just actually hurts good gameplay

im not sure what your advocating for being taken away, the healing while dueled and vanishing? but that logic every rogue would take it, but the rogue that keeps winning these awcs, isnt even running it, i imagine it cant be that major by that logic?

Yeah, and while in stealth. So they can’t just infinite vanish and wait for healer to top them and come back out

What do you mean by pvp game? Like mmo pvp or just any game that is player vs player because I can think of a couple instances where there’s no limit on stealth.

In league evelyn stealth is pretty much infinite once you hit 6.
And in overwatch you have Sombra stealth which is infinite, gives you a speedboost, and you can use all of your abilities in.
