I can get that sometimes, there are items that may cause issues down the line and you want to “fix” them now. However, its pretty scummy to leave things out of the change notes when you’re trying to avoid backlash for a change. The Runeblade of Baron Rivendare has forever and aways had a hefty speed buff at any level, and you’ve gone and changed it to give an incredibly minor amount of speed stat. This item was literally causing no harm and was only used for fun little speed sets to see how fast your little legs could go. Revert the blade back to the way it was, and if you think that it is somehow an issue, open discussion before silently changing it.
Legacy gear should never have equal or more power than current gear. It sounds like the proper design decision was made.
So what? It was an intentional nerf and they won’t undo it. % speed is too Op anyway.
You mean you got it to drop?
They added a vendor with a few old removed recipes that can be purchased, not really anything people wanted. But they have removed a huge number of old patterns since the start of Shadowlands and undoubtedly will continue.
We are on year 14 of blizzard nerfing items from previous expansions that still see use max level for whatever reason.
Why are you surprised by this?
Its weird they would nerf this. It gives noticeable speed to make your transmog runs abit faster, thats pretty much its only use.
Now that its been nerfed theres literally zero reason to go pick it up, blizzard continues to kill the old world and have surprised pikachu face when people complain about there being nothing to do in the game.
