Reminder that bolvar should have won, frostmourne was a level 1 weapon, helm of damnation was level 255

if you read up on all the lore the helm of damnation is what gave arthas his superhero powers, not frostmourne. we had to literally use the souls of frostmourne to stop him…so bolvar should have pwned sylvanas.

Nope. Christie Golden showers would have Sylvanas beat Galactus at this point.

That Shadow/Shade King thing would Give Sylvanas more power. I believe all she have to say “More power.” and call him daddy.

Frostmourne was the battery, the helm was the device it powered. Arthas became more powerful the more souls he trapped in the sword. Without the sword and the souls within it Bolvar was never capable of being anywhere near as powerful as Arthas.

Arthas didn’t have a fancy metal hat when he pissed in the Sunwell.

All Bolvar had to do was ask to borrow my frostmourne blades. I would have gladly obliged.

Why did Bolvar let me take it if it was so important anyway?

Your Frostmourne blades are dead, remember?

Arthas would have beat Bolvar. They are not on the same level. Sylvanas is becoming more powerful due to the instability of the Shadowlands and her partnership with the Jailer, the boogeyman that hides in the Maw.

Souls are actually what powered up the Lich King and Arthas. It’s quite clear if you read the lore.

As he devoured more and more souls, he only grew in power as the individual undead under his control gave him “much needed nourishment”. Thus, his powers began growing at an exponential rate; a fact that the dreadlords were well aware of.

Loss of powers.

Illidan’s spell had caused this crack to worsen and now the Lich King’s powers were rapidly seeping out like blood from an open wound
Arthas was losing power as well — his powers came directly from the Frozen Throne, through his blade Frostmourne

The “powers” seeping out would be the souls. Once Arthas and Ner’zhul merged though they had a physical body the power could not seep out of. The helm does grant him powers mind you, but he gets the bulk of his strength from the souls he consumed. I doubt Bolvar has been consuming many souls.

At LEAST let him land a freaking hit.

But really, he should have started that fight by completely thrashing her and forced her to dig deeper into her mystery jesus power. THAT would have at least been fun to watch. A struggle.

But nope. She doesn’t even have to try. Just skipped up to the throne and won.

She doesn’t even have to try. Just skipped up to the throne and won.

I think this is what bothers most people. I know it’s what bothers me about the cinematic.
