Reminder, it has been 6 (six) weeks since last communication from blizzard

The game brings in enough money to justify better than multi-month intervals of community interaction. Specially during a time when the game has had so many problems. Server stability, botting, economy, or otherwise.

Do your job and speak to your community. Maybe a quick little bluepost to justify your time during a 4 hour friday maintenance?

What kind of workplace can you hide from your client for 6 weeks and continue to bill them with no status update.

Despicable.

The kind you personally keep sending money to.
Put your money where your mouth is.

Keep subbing guys ! That’ll show them! :sunglasses:

They have no obligation to “interact” with customers, especially when those customers are often vitriolic and abusive. No, that is absolutely not their job.

with how much we complain, who would want to talk to us? we’re doing everything in our power to make them hate us.

Interesting, it’s almost as if making terrible decisions for 20+ years that constantly lower the quality of the game creates unhappy customers. Back in real 2005 vanilla, these forums were the happiest place on earth. Every server forum was populated and people were just there to socialize with other players. People didn’t change, the quality of the game and the quality of the service changed.

people definitely changed, and not in a good way at all

Blizzard’s strategy of hiring less-than-competent staff as community managers didn’t help any. In addition, while it’s probably not possible for the community manager staff to respond to literally every single thread on the forums, Blizzard did a massive, on-going disservice to themselves (and the players) by
(A) not responding to well-constructed feedback; and
(B) responding to wholly unconstructive feedback.

All this did was create incentives to be as hyperbolic/shrill as possible to get a response from Blizzard at the expense of otherwise well-formulated player feedback.

The sought after communication is a relic of the past and something you should be privy too as an informed consumer.

they busy helping the poor streamers

tons of games died in the last 20 years.

but not this one.

why not?

A great game although heavily diminished, is still great.

5 days since we were told HC players are being revived though. Mentally I would love it if I could just agree to myself to quit this and go play retail in 2 days if they haven’t told us anything by then.

A week after HC revive announcements and still nothing here for anniversary? The devs for this game are actually just terrible, and they are riding on the coat tails of the people who actually created vanilla wow.

Like literally is there not a more qualified person than Aggrend who can take over his job and do ANYTHING?

Dude spends too much of his time eating snacks and thinking about what needs to be done to ret paladin on SOD when he should be putting more effort into this.

Bull. The very fact that someone is asking for communication from Blizzard, means it existed at some point.
It boggles the mind that someone would defend a multi-billion dollar company and gain nothing from it.

As someone who has years of experience in MMO gameplay, it was always common to have GM’s and communication.

All American companies have succumbed to a profit-first-and-only mentality and until we all tell them that it is not acceptable from the viewpoint of a paying customer, it will continue.

apparently it takes all of their resources to res onlyfangs members on HC servers. sorry, no time for the peons

They don’t have to interact with anyone, but they do need to address issues with their $15/month game.

I defend those who deserve it. It doesn’t matter how much money Blizzard brings in. They are not obligated to suffer your vitriol and abuse. Find a healthier avenue to express yourself.

Go play an MMO where they do that then? If you’re so unsatisfied here, just leave.

They need what they want. And they need it now.
