I am trying to find an addon that will remind me when certain abilities are off cooldown or have not been cast. I would like it to show the ability in the middle or my screen for a few seconds or something. Anyone know of an addon that can do this?

WeakAuras have tons of customizability (I think that’s a word) but setting it up can be time consuming. That said, tons of premade WAs on https://wago.io/ to can just import.

I have use Weak Aura’s but haven’t found anything pre-made that does what I want. Also have no idea how to create what I want as it is WAY over my head.

I tried Hekili but I couldn’t get it to do what I wanted it to.

WeakAuras is exactly what you want for this, as it’s one of the easiest functions to do.

Login

type /wa to open the main window

Upper-right corner → New

Right side → Guided wizard (words to that effect)

Select what kind of display you want, in this case probably an icon

Choose the size

From the list of options pick Cooldown

Select the abilities you want (Holding Ctrl lets you click more than one)

Click next

Pick when you want the aura to be displayed, in this case Always when off cooldown

Click create

You now have exactly what you want. From here you can move the icons around to the desired location or if you want to have them in a uniform group you can hit new, select group or dynamic group, then drag all of the icons into that one.

Thanks I was able to create what I wanted. There is one thing I would like to change. Is it possible to have the icon’s maintain their position when they are on cooldown? Currently they populate left to right based on what comes off cooldown first until all are available and then go to the positions.

Doom Cooldown Pulse is made for exactly this.

  • Make one weakauras that show when its on cooldown and second that shows when it off cooldown.

  • Position one where you want it on the screen and note its position (display tab about half way down X Offset and Y Offset)

  • Go to the second aura and set the X & Y Offsets to the same numbers
