Remembering Classic MC attune + tips

What do you remember from Classic MC attonement? Farming Hydrax Rep for the water was needed I assume?

Did people still prefer to get to MC through the shortcut in the lava? or running BRD and jumping?

Never had a chance to play, started in BC.

If you remember anything or have any tips please drop below

You mean attunement? Atonement is making up for sins/misdeeds/transgressions.
Can’t wait for that world traversing in depth actual RPG quest!

Tip: Always ask have you seen Rexxar in desolace. Even if you’re not looking for him. Also if you are there and see him. Call his position out in chat.

Basically everyone used the “window” to enter MC after being attuned.

I think he means saying sorry to all those poor monsters killed for rep. D:

I cannot recall how early a player could attune to the Core. Level 58? Or earlier. I know I attuned before hitting 60.

Even after running MC I spent a lot of time as a blacksmith in BRD, working the Dark Iron Forge and Anvil, to smith Dark Iron plate for the other guild offtanks.

Is attunement still required in Classic 1.12?

MC attunement was simple. Pick up a quest outside BRD go to the entrance of MC inside BRD, click stone, return. There was nothing else.

The Attunement chains were for Onyxia.

Pretty much just get this done on your way from 55-58 or so.

Multiple ways to cheese it, but if you have the time I recommend just forming a group for a full clear + attunement. Might be relatively simple to find others who also want/need the same in the first 6 months.

Yes, I recall getting attuned for Ony, to get the Drakefire Amulet, on my way to my Quel’Serra.

I actually enjoyed the long quest lines involved with the whole endeavor, and I am even looking forward to repeating em.

The dreaded 2 week attunement quest that me and a guildy completed start to finish in a day.
