Remember with mythic+ coming out

You are a person, and if you get a failed key, fail in a group or just overall not doing well. It is ok, if the group treats you badly because of it. Report them, a failed group does not give anyone the right to treat you badly.

Blizzard is cracking down hard on these toxic people. Just remember, that you don’t deserve to be talked down on just because you did not play well. Or even if it is not your fault at all.

The more people get in trouble for this, the better the community will become.

Remember peeps : don’t use bad words. Just use the facts. “Low dps”, “butt pulled a dangerous mob”, “died too often”, “released and ran back from the start and held back the group”.

The more facts you use, the better chance someone that keeps failing with learn what is wrong with their play, instead of trying to shift blames to others “being toxic”.

That is fine

Low dps is much more respectful than trash dps.

Criticism <> toxic behavior. Telling someone they are an objectively bad/subpar player for X, Y, and Z reasons doesn’t make you toxic. It’s when you cross the line into attacking their being or wanting IRL things to happen to them is where you cross the line.

Telling someone to go kill themselves IRL or threatening to find them and beat them with a spiked club will get you a nice and hopefully perma vacay. Telling someone their output sucks and isn’t acceptable for this level of play and their inability to execute mechanics or follow a simple path to avoid avoidable mobs is feedback.

Trash dps isn’t reportable.

Alternatives : Garbage dps, Dumpster DPS, sub-tank DPS, “my 70 year old mother does more dps and she doesn’t even play this game”.

I’ve literally never seen that.

I’ve seen peeps criticize deaths and dps, and the peeps on the receiving end going into defensive stance against it instead of learning, but I’ve never seen party chat devolve.

Most just brick the key by leaving silently.

Yes it is, in fact it is disrespectful. The contract says so.

It is all how you word it. So be careful

You’re stretching the definition.

It also goes both ways. If the group is being respectful saying you are dying too much or that your dps is low. That does not give you a right to snap back at them. You can get reported also.

How things are worded matter

Not when you’re trying to time a key

You’re confusing criticism as toxicity

That’s fine though if you want to believe in your way you just won’t get invited to say a +20

I mean saying low dps is fine and calling it out.

Saying Trash dps is not. How you word things matter.

That’s a pretty arbitrary line.

You want fake nice, you don’t want respect. Trash DPS is just a way to make the person understand that his DPS wasn’t just low, it was abnormally low.

Doubt Blizzard would silence or perma ban anyone for “Trash DPS”. Since it’s the DPS you’re insulting, not the person.

Blizzard has been cracking down hard on players like this. Cussing, and arguing with players. So it is better to be “fake” nice and not risk getting in trouble.

and having to be fake nice is better than what we have now. So i’m ok with it.

Your sentence structure is odd to say the least.

Typing on phone :frowning: also I am lazy.

No they haven’t.

You’re allowed to argue with players.

Dude, even in FFXIV, you can call people deadweight.

“trash dps” doesn’t fall under the contract criteria.

Ah so forums, and reddit been lying? Good to know Ralimir.

I play final fantasy that does not happen, no you are not lol. The golden rule is. If you got nothing nice to say, better off not saying anything.

When is the last time we heard from people who were banned for violating the contract in the forums?

You get your news from reddit ?

No wonder you’re confused.

You lie.
