I’m pretty on top of the spoilers, but this one I haven’t seen yet.
Yeah, there really just isn’t a ton to go off of.
Who are her parents? What did she do before she was ranger general?
I think nobbel explains that her personality was actually pretty flat, being on-par with Arthas before the scourge invasion.
In the case of Arthas (BEFORE the scourge invasion) he was your typical blond brute force He-Man, reckless and with a bad ego that led to his beloved horse’s most brutal death.
With Sylvanas she was just your average blond haired elf who wanted to get laid, and was skilled with a bow.
You and I must have been playing a different game. There was never a time that she was likeable
Probably so.
The spoiler is:
Summary
Sylvannas is offered her body back in full living state if she does as told.
Makes sense when you think about it…she’s afraid of death and wants to stay alive.
OOHHHH yowza! Yeah. That’s wild, I hadn’t heard that. Thanks!

Summary
The jailer is a titan of death, and he wants to control the afterlife completely for some reason. The more souls in the maw, the stronger he grows. So it benefits him to have Sylvannas cause a war and kill as many living as possible to mass feed the maw, in exchange for her body.
Ironically, its a bad plan because she will be the only one left alive and no one to talk to or interact with, she would live a lonesome life. She isn’t thinking too far ahead, just on her fear of the afterlife.
I also remember a time when blizzard respected the name of Hellscream.
How is this confusing? Sylvanas wasn’t likeable, alive or dead.
She was the only racial leader I never attempted to defend against raids back in the old, old days when I played Horde. So… I guess I never found her likeable. Sorry!
Isn’t her undead body extremely resilient to most attacks, she’s also immortal and immune to a lot of the ailments living people face.
If she is so afraid of death wouldn’t it be better to have a body that is less likely to die?
From the lore, forsaken’s bodies are a ticking time bomb…eventually set to expire. She’s no exception. The forsaken aren’t held together by magic as strong as lich king and his DK’s who can keep the individual intact. It’s why she tried to take control of the queen val’kyr with the lamp, to get a solution to it. Her body may be more powerful, but even time will take it away from her. Don’t know why she thinks
Summary
having her body back is the solution
, but again this could all be fake spoilers I read.
This found on wowpedia or within a book? I’m looking on wowpedia but it basically says forsaken like most undead are essentially immortal if they take care of their bodies.
They do indeed rot, and the longer they live the longer they have a chance to become mindless zombies. Example:
https://wow.gamepedia.com/Mindless_state
https://wow.gamepedia.com/Gretchen_Dedmar
Sylvannas and all forsaken are afraid of this happening to them, hence the lantern and queen val’kyr scene.
Yes, pre-Cata. That third death really should have stuck.
wonder as a banshee if she is capable of leaving that body then when it falls apart and finding another.
This paladin still likes her character.
