The thing with blizzards side is that when they released shuffle they made it 6 rounds to complete the match. If it was a one and done thing that didnt lock healers into 6 matches we really wouldnt be having the problem we are rn

No shuffle took a great idea called dynamic que and rearranged it into the current abomination we’ve got that makes nobody happy but the sub 1600 players who just want to press que and w key everything all game.

The majority of the playerbase is sub 1500 you bozo. If you make a game only catered only to the top% you get a dead game no one cares about oh wait thats what we have already oops.

Theres a reason why games like fortnite, league, valorant, GTA RP and minecraft are popular and games like world of warcraft 3v3 arena isnt.

The only sin solo shuffle has committed is trying to emulate 3v3 instead of just being its own standalone feature with custom maps/rules/assets, etc.

Something in between bgs and arenas but with the same spirit of RSS.

I think that they whipped up a neato initial version, although I’d really like to see a slightly larger scale type thing, like 4v4-6v6 on a smaller bg map that has some pve objectives kind of like a moba.

Could be cool. 3v3 cage match is too stressful.

Exactly this. They experimented with this forumla in the past but in too big of a scope (ashran, tol barad, wintergrasp) which is why they failed. Just make it 5v5 (or 4v4/6/6 idc) with dynamic events/spawns in the style of battlegrounds but smaller.

Are you talking about in general or actual pvpers? If you cut out all the one time quers and bg heroes who que and never progress past 1400 after 7 years the average in pvp for real arenas players is more like 1800.

This isn’t about the top %. It’s about the % of actual pvpers vs the super casuals who don’t ever care to try and improve. It’s like if blizz started designing raids and m+ for people who only do lfr and normal dungeons all day.

Merit isn’t even a factor in the discussion but if you wanna bring in merit it’s very obvious why you defend shuffle since it’s the highest rating you’ve ever achieved.

It’s simple. If people really wanted to keep playing 3v3 LFG they would still be doing so. No one is stopping them. The fact they aren’t just shows there was no demand for it at all.

Also I’ve been 2800+ in 3v3s. Not that I need to qualify myself to a level 10 troll who is scared to show his achievements… or lack thereof.

That’s the part you’re consistently failing to understand which is why you shouldn’t be talking about the topic at all. A huge majority of the playerbase will que whatever gives them rewards for the least amount of effort and time, if they released a new rated pvp format that was just beating up a target dummy in a dps race and it gave glad for winning 10 everyone would do it regardless of how boring or dumb it is for the rewards.

It does because people wanna que 2s and 3s but they want dynamic que instead of shuffle. I’ve got tons of friends who came back for shuffle all hyped who’ve either quit or refuse to touch it because of all the problems and because of the problems shuffle causes the normal ladder they’ve lost all interest in pvp for this expansion.
