Remember big patch days being no more than a couple hours?

I do. This is sad.

No?

Minor patch days, yes

For over a decade now we’ve had these long extensions so I’m not sure what time period you’re reminiscing about. Maybe minor patches, most certainly not pre-patch or other major patches.

Tell us you dont have a real job without telling us.

Well, maybe you are just telling us I guess.

No you don’t, lol. If anything patches took longer in the past. You obviously weren’t here for the Cataclysm prepatch, which took 16 hours.

Big patch days have never been “just a couple of hours”

That is objectively false. Big patches have always taken at least 8 hours, if not 16 (like Cataclysm).

When did this happen other than never?

You clearly weren’t here for the hellhole that was Warlords of Draenor launch lol

I remember patch days being three days.

I also remember it taking this long with DF.

What does this have to do with the OP’s post?

I played DF prepatch and launch.

Servers were up before the estimated time both occasions

Not really, no. Waiting for the patch to actually work, trolling the forums because there wasn’t really anything to do, having other games to play but not wanting to just play them for a few hours…now that feels familiar.

Lol having absolutely no concept of the work at hand.

Guess you can join in that party lol.

You must be new then because big patches usually take all day. Sure, this one is one of the longer ones, but big patches don’t take only a couple of hours.

Rude and for what :skull:
