Remember back when raiding was serious business?

This is from TBC, which was basically Vanilla minus the 40 man raids.
Good times :slight_smile:

I raided in the days of walking through black rock depths to get to molten core. I died many times, i saved my raid tremendous recovery time with my portal and soul stone. i saved up dozens of soul shards, enough to summon the raid.

back when loot ninjas were a thing… i was not there for vanilla but i saw a lot of videos with them and the people who got loot ninjad were not happy and i can see why despite joining during cata

You know this is Asmongold when he raids in classic. (sorry I couldn’t help but say this)

i know but i am glad he is not in ff14 because i would not want his community playing it just to /yell in the major cities calling everyone who plays the game “weeb trash” just because they play a game from japan.

My first raid leader in vanilla was a soft-spoken, super cool Wisconsin/Minnesota guy with a thick accent that mispronounced names all the time. After he left the game, our MT was the raid leader and he didn’t have a mic. I never had the experience of the vein-popping, ragey raid leader. :frowning:

Haha, I didn’t even think about that for FF14. Kinda glad now also!

what like the guy from the onyxia wipe animation. i understand why he was made but removing 50dkp for something someone can’t control was a little much

but even if he did try it he would not make it to max level and end game because how slow ff14 battles are.

No way, Asmongold will never be like Troxed. Troxed is/was epic.

He was one of those cats that faded into legend that only old and wise players know about.

Troxed was comical.

Riggnaros was serious.

This one is one of my favorites as well;
