I have a Normal helm and LFR pantaloons, but my raid legendary is PTC on helm. Should I go ahead and spend the time farming up more cinder, or do yall think it’s worth it to just wait and see? Am I allowed to have ptc on helm and hands so I can switch back and forth if things change? Why is it such a gigantic pain to get cinder? I just don’t wanna spend all this time changing legendaries then realize there’s something I could have done that I didn’t know about.

until next week, you can pretty much keep your covenant legendary, by next week, and thats if you have done enough stuff in zereth mortis to hit revered, you will get the unity belt wich means you will be able to destroy the current legendary you are using and switch to a better one like deeptremor for example

You can destroy other unused legendaries to make new ones. Destroying an old legendary gives you a full refund of the cinders and ash.

On my druid I had the Draughg legendary on my chest but got tier chest out of the vault and wanted to craft the legendary on neck instead… so I went to the primus in the obliette and destroyed legendary chest for a full refund.

Correct. And it’s a huge gold sink. My server is usually pretty cheap but was still like 115k

Yeah. I made one for Primal Tidal Core for my hands for only 60k as a 291, so seemed worth it in order to use 2 piece and PTC during raid. Nice to know that I can refund the cost if I swap. Thank you for your answer, I appreciate it.

I am currently using this legendary in my helm, but since the changes coming to tier sets includes the following tier sets, I need to find the best alternative for this memory.

Our tier set bonus, Theurgic Starspeaker’s Regalia, is comprised of the following items from Sepulcher of the First Ones:
Theurgic Starspeaker’s Howl = (Helm - Anduin Wrynn)
Theurgic Starspeaker’s Adornment = (Shoulders - Lords of Dread)
Theurgic Starspeaker’s Ringmail = (Chest - Rygelon)
Theurgic Starspeaker’s Runebindings = (Gloves - Lihuvim)
Theurgic Starspeaker’s Tassets = (Legs - Halondrus)

So should I look at rings/trinket/neck, or perhaps my cape instead? Any suggestions?

The guide currently suggest hands. Though I could see you getting some unlucky RNG and as soon as you remake it to hands then you get like 3 set hands back to back.

Maybe hold off and see what pieces you get.

Yea…my rng sucks eggs at the moment. Almost everything I’ve gotten that actually works was given to me by one of my guild mates or I just happen to win the roll in raid loot drops. Which unfortunately did not include any tier set pieces.

I currently have my ele legendary on my back pc which seems to be working out well, and thought that might be a good option for my resto legendary, but really did not know if it would be a good option at all.

You could always craft unity first and PTC second.

Or a lower version of PTC.

Do 291 leggo helms still come with free socket?

Yeah I’m in the same boat. I always seem to have terrible drop luck. Thank god I got my tier helm the first GV.
