Relying on apex procs in single target to do any sort of single target damage is unfun gameplay

Because its 2.5% swing from the average. Not much of a swing. And every class has this RNG factor, its not unique to Feral. The entire theme for this patch is RNG (casino).

They do. I dont see anyone complaining when RNG favors them. Wheres the “please nerf this because RNG favored me”.

2.5% variance which can go up OR down isnt a big deal. Especially when it all averages out. No different than crit favoring you and firing off more than your crit rating over the course of an encounter, or being just shy of said rating.

If i was just simply comparing DPS numbers, id agree, but we’re comparing procs based off of Rip ticks (specifically in strictly ST scenario where everyone is averaging 98% uptime).

The point being “dps checks are sooooo tight” is a fallacy. Even with people doing mechanics, the raid as a whole doing 90% (which you can find), DPS isnt the reason for a failed pull. Its usually botched mechanics, taking unnecessary damage (and by extension, early deaths).

Raids arent failing because one person is missing 20-30 million potential damage

Edit: so long as mechanics are being done, mythic raids can be downed with an entire raid averaging 50% parses
