This is actually the reason I stopped playing in them. Felt like a waste of my time if I can’t do what I want.

Right I stopped playing as soon as cata classic came out. Not allowed to play wrath. Fine beep you blizz lol.
Now they have anniversary and Im not holding my breath for permanent bc or wrath era servers.
Speak for yourself about the internet connection. I had ADSL when wow came out, was no dialup for me.
So that’s why WoW became so popular? Because the experience was horrible.
My memories don’t match your theory.
We should also have a spectator server but i cant think of a name for it…

Yah it’s just frustrating for those of us who did. And i really wanted permanent wrath classic era servers. And blizzard denied that to us.
And now we are going around a second time, and It just isn’t worth it if I can’t have permanent wrath era for a second time now. 3rd time if you count vanilla back in the day in 2010. Only to get , you think you do, but you don’t.
Like no. I don’t think. I know I want permanent wrath classic era lol.

I hate to say it but I am finding myself loving Classic a lot in terms of the interaction/fun that people just seem to do here compared to retail. I think going past wrath would lose that.
I have tried Cata and it isn’t too bad. Feels like partway in between but doesn’t have the same magic.

I mean, they took away all of the stuff I loved about the game in cata though in my op, although cataclysm was and is still loveable.
But I want the best of both worlds. And wrath classic was just the best way of experiencing the stuff that was taken away and changed in cata in my op.
Although I also like vanilla. But wrath will always be the best to me.
My retail hunter to this day has his old quiver on his bag slots. So I have 1 less bag slot than any other character. Why? Because not having ammo is stupid and makes zero sense lol.

I like how you take part of what I say and just ignore the rest. Yes, it’s horrible - compared to today’s standard and quality of life improvements in the game. Back then, we didn’t have anything better and it was all new.
Don’t twist my words to try to prove your point. At least be honest in your argument and discussion. Also, it isn’t my “theory”, it’s facts. Just because you have rose-colored glasses doesn’t mean it’s some theory.
I’m not sure why people are getting their panties in a bunch about vanilla only, tbc only, and wrath only servers. You’re getting them. They already have vanilla only servers (they’re dead btw). The anniversary servers are progressing to TBC, no further (with the exception of the hardcore realm, which isn’t progressing at all). Now all you need is a wrath only server and I’m sure the next iteration of released servers will have that.
