Battlegrounds are needed for the world to function normally at this point.
Due to the knowledge we have about the game and the many years of experience, we are not getting authentic vanilla experience. It most certainly was not like that in vanilla before battlegrounds were added.
Southshore vs Hilsbrad is cool but it is cool because it was created with time. Now on day 1 there are 300vs300 people. That is fine. Whats not fine is that every single zone is camped by 20man raids.
It takes 15 min to get from Gadgetzan to ZF and we all know how close those two are. Some people experience 30-40min getting to BRD from Thorium Point. Such a waste of time!
After a gazillion topics have been made on this, please consider releasing battlegrounds.

What they don’t realize is even with WSG/AV the amount of horde premades I already see being setup are going to send them off the deep end.

Battle Grounds don’t give EXP. Some have a quest or two but not enough to level.
Adding BGs won’t make wPvP go away. It might give a place to hide for a little while but the leveling won’t be any easier.
Nobody wants wpvp to go away thats a huge part of the game. And nobody is talking about levelling in BGs
The rankers will go to battlegrounds as well as many people who prefer the battlegrounds as well as those who want battleground awards.
That means 60-70% of the people camping the world in raids will no longer be there or at least not 100% of the time. This will give you opportunity to level alts, farm herbs or whatever you feel like doing.

bro they are not releasing battlegrounds within less than a week of the honor system being out. expect at least a month of world pvp before battlegrounds, at minimum.
What are you saying? The problem doesn’t go away. Yes, that’s correct.
What I am saying is there’s 2 phases. Phase 1 has no honor, phase 2 does, both are the ONLY phases that have no BGs.
Phase 2 is a highly sought after period in the vanilla experience.
Some like it some love it, others hate it.
It is the 1 defining difference between PvP realms and Normal realms. Those that are hating it right now have no business on a PvP realm.

I would support the early release of WSG.
40 man raids roaming every zone ganking and camping anything 48+ 24/7, is not an authentic, or enjoyable, wow experience. WSG doesn’t affect gear progression that much, AV on the other hand, does greatly. Hopefuly AV and BWL are very far in the future still, but WSG soon would solve alot of problems.
