I got 25 on day 2 and got server 3rd BFD.
I just can enjoy playing alts, and doing completionist stuff and having fun at the level cap

i’ve just gone back to retail and hardcore until we get phase 2, i log in to help my guild raid but there’s not a ton going on and i’m really not interested in alts this time around

I have already lvled 5 toons to 25 and a 2 other are 16 18. and I am a slow fat dad but dont drink nor diseased and I down with staying longer at lvl 40 but 25 is pretty much slow.
My own personal issues with phase 1 are as follows
only really interested in 1 spec, and being forced to play 2 tertiary ones atm because that spec is entirely unviable for the phase right now,
playing my warrior feels like i contribute, but i’m bored out of my mind as it hitting one button to bounce rage between ~80 and 65 and dont want to take gear from players who are intending to stay that class/spec for the whole of SoD
Feral feels like i’m just there for wild strikes, once again contributing but… not really feeling it
Shadow is a joke atm and will remain so outside of pvp until phase 2.
so yeah, raid logging until phase 2, if i could play the spec i wanted without feeling like dead weight i’d probably be logging in just to have fun and farm but atm there’s no real point.

It’s a good think you made this post, They weren’t sure when to release but the new information of Supercyan being bored will go right to the devs and speed up development

Agreed. The level cap and initial content of phase 1 were great but there really isn’t much going on in this level bracket. Classes feel extremely limited and shoehorned into 1 spec, maybe 2 if they are hybrid class. There is a lot more variety at level 40 to keep players busy for two to three months but not at 25.
WSG is awful because of matching with premades with no time limit; Ashenvale is still buggy as hell and is only worth doing until you hit revered with Warsong Outriders / Silverwing Sentinels; and BFD, although enjoyable, is on a 3 day lockout.
Really hoping for P2 to be released on Jan 9th but I have a feeling it’s going to be the 23rd or 30th.

Zero shot of jan 9th. They are not doing a 5 week phase over a holiday. Hopefully very end of january is the very earliest.

I mean, we can make it Jan 11th if you really want it to be an even 6 weeks. Having the game remain in Phase 1 over the holiday gave players plenty of time to hit 25 without feeling they are being left behind.
Don’t see any reason why the first phase needs to be two months long when even the most casual of players could have hit 25 and completed BFD on multiple characters by now.

I no lifed over the holidays, a lot of people actually played less though.
Even with me playing way too much, im fine with a 8-12 week phase.
Why do we always have to rush to the end. Enjot it while it lasts

I mean what would you do in ph2 that wouldnt be done in Ph1?
You’ll still grind dungeons, do the raid, farm mats and get ganked by rogues. But now the hunters will be throwing grenades and slapping you with sappers and the premades will now be for WSG and AB. Your PvE rotation will be probably be largely the same and warriors will still get rolled without a priest support which is nothing new.
SoD really should last a very long time, otherwise we’ll hit 60 after 5 months and get bombarded with “FRESH WHEN” threads after day 1 MC clears.

phase 1 has to last for 3 years and then we can move to phase 2 for another 5 years. Seasons of Dads needs more time

6 weeks for an initial phase that is capped at 25 isn’t rushing though. If it was 6 weeks per phase, then yeah but I can easily see phase 2 lasting atleast 12 weeks.
Class specs start to become a lot more viable at level 40. Shadow priests, elemental shaman, enhancement shaman and boomkins get the talents that make them feel better to play. Other classes like Mages, Rogues, and Locks get a lot more variety of specs to play with that are fundamentally different. We also get mounts to make traveling from zone to zone much more tolerable for those not playing Hunter or Shaman rn.
You do I am not saying release to lvl 60 just the next phases. There is only so much people can do at this low of a lvl. I down with playing serval months in other phases. Its just everything is Locked up. Most of my time is being in the barrens which I enjoy it but get does get old.
Maybe you should forget wow and go back to school instead considering you can’t even spell BORED.

I am very sorry for the misspelling. I had a massive stroke when I was younger and Lost some of my basic stuff like speaking and some movement with my right side of my body. Most of those things came back but some are still a struggle like spelling.

I am sorry to hear about that. It can be a struggle I was only 21 when it happened. 12 days in ICU right side was paralyzed. My broka part of my brain is gone sadly but the dr said since I was young I could relearn how to speak. But I am really sorry that you had to go threw that as well. Its hard to live threw that.
