monk’s literally don’t work with Cata because they wouldn’t have any talents. they’ll come out during the prepatch along with Joyous Journeys

Exactly this. They would have to give all three Monk specs brand new talent trees for this to work. That’s too much time and trouble for them to release it a few months early.
It would be some pretty epic trolling to release them now though with no talents

Imagine queuing into a Twilight and first thing you’d see is a Monk as your tank, and you know that they have no talents.
I’d laugh so much before leaving.
And this is why they won’t do it because they know people would do that

I’ll take Brewmaster with no talents over not being able to reach CTC and having no hit and expertise on my Warrior, tbh
