Release Date!?

Come on Blizz! People need to put in time off so we can not sleep for a few weeks while vegging out on front of our computers.

Right! The only thing they have is exclusives and no upgrades.

When it is done. I’d rather have a complete product than a buggy mess due to an early release.

They push back the announcement a week every time someone asks on the forum.

At this rate we are getting a shadow drop.

It’s usually a dumpster fire on launch day. For BfA, Alliance players were missing out on the Jaina Proudmoore cinematic that plays as part of the intro questline because the devs didn’t implement it correctly.

There also was the infamous Nazmir finale cinematic that was broken for weeks on Horde side.

You should never plan to play on release day!

They’re probably waiting to see if CDProjekt Red delays Cyberpunk 2077 again or not, because if not, November is going to be pretty busy already for a Shadowlands release if that is the case.

Hopefully January 2021. Game needs a lot more work

It can make the 2020 deadline easily if they wanted to.

I’m sure round 3 or 4 or whatever we’re on of rona will get a nice boost in fall so we’ll all have plenty of time to play.

Im actually glad they have not committed to a date. So they can continue to fix issues in Beta and PTR

Prepatch is now on ptr servers which traditionally happens 1 months before it goes live. Typical length of prepatch is also 1 month. That means release will be 2 month from now:

late October.

I was guessing late Nov for release but it might be earlier the way the PTR is shaping up.

PTR has been somewhat smooth so I can see that.

I always plan to play on release day, always have played on release day and have always had a great time playing on release day.

Even with all of the crashes and shenanigans during the WoD launch I had a great time.
