They would rather silence folks on their forums than find a way to fix the problem… because that’s the real issue here.
Really then how come they never touch their store sight or even the account side, they’re are still accessible everything is working fine but the game. If people ddos’ing wanted to do real damage they would access all areas of Blizzard not just the game play tyvm.
Same problem on Quelthalas
Hello, Everytime i login to WoW, I get to the character screen, and login into my lvl 120 Demon hunter and loading screen gets half way then I get disconnected. Is there any issues that are happening of why i cant get logged in? I even changed my password to incase if i was being hacked but its still disconnecting me, even when i try to get onto different characters.
the hacker from other countries which our president fails to understand and the republicans
I’m pretty sure there are ways, which is why new DDoS techniques are always being developed. Many websites have obvious DDoS protection. DDoS would also be much more of a problem today if there were no “good way” to protect against it.
I was playing on BfA. I got disconnected. I got a log-in queue upon relogging. I can get as far as the character select screen and a loading screen but then it disconnects with error WOW51900319. I also get the disconnect when I try to change to a different server.
I am not having this issue logging into Classic WoW right now.
its up and running for how long is the question
I am playing on Lothar… Just Laggy.
Hey everyone!
Just FYI if it matters, I could login again (Americas - Thunderlord - BFA).
Earlier today happened the same, got disconnected and could got back after several minutes and attempts.
Hope it’s fixed for everyone too!
Hello Blizzard.
its quite public about what is going on around the world and the news media is picking up on it.
Considering that this has been going on for some hours now, perhaps Blizzard can give us more than " we are looking at it".
While you are working on this issue, can you please comment on the following:
-
prior to the launch of Classic, this must have been a known issue (still going on in Retail) - so that Blizzard demonstrates the importance of transparency and communication to the community - can you please point to a link where you outline what actions were taken on the part of Bliz to mitigate this risk?
-
can you please outline (after 15 years of operation) the plan to compensate users. While we can say " this is out of Blizzards control", that is a bit weak considering Blizzard has been running this service for more than 15 years. Please point to a link that demonstrates Blizzard is prepared to accommodate and compensate customers that are having issues (in fact, looking around - it seems this has been going on since last night on some servers).
-
when servers are down , most people will go to the Realms Status page - this has not been updated and shows everything on Retail and Classic is still up - this creates frustration on the pat of users of your product. Can you please provide the ticket or followup issue that will ensure this page is fixed and updated regularly, or if this dead is now "dead’ - an alternative solution to find out when there are issues that is up to date (rather than having to have more than 600+ posts before a tech person will comment?).
its important that Blizzard demonstrate, after all the work to get people back three weeks ago, that over 15 years they have understood the best way to keep users happy is accurate, transparent and open communication. This is an opportunity for Blizzard to shine and show that our loyalty in coming back was not misplaced.
Food for thought i guess.
Because that’s what pisses people off. they’re not trying to bankrupt Activision, just get attention like a toddler throwing sand. You’re talking like you’re one of the hackers anyway.
WHEN are you guys going to stop this twerp? With all the resources and money WE, your CUSTOMERS, give you DAILY, this should be NON-EXISTENT!!! Get it together!!!
well that was short lived
I know how businesses work Kallox. They have less than 5,000 employees for their company. Based on reported average salaries there they pay approximately $31,000,000 a month for their staff. Their estimated server costs are approximately $5,000,000 a month. Assuming an additional $1,000,000 (which is a high estimate) for facilities fees a month, they have $8,000,000 in cash flow that is being unused.
Poor Mankrik, first he lost is wife and now he lost his server
Load of crap its not ddos’ing its Blizzard end
exactly they have to pay for the servers and the people who work there . then like other bills and stuff I highly doubt they have that much in the end.
I was on an alt in Un’Goro Crater and I’ve been having “disconnected” issues. Then when I go to log back in to the realms and to my account, I get stuck on the ‘logging in to servers’ and then BOOM >>> “you have been disconnected from WoW”
Im in class and work all week and have maybe a few hrs to play on saturdays i guess ill go play Elder Scrolls Online
