Rejoining retail.. (trying)

Where do I start?

There is so much going on that I’m actually lost.

Got the itch to play it but I just look at my character and get overwhelmed with all the currencies, crafted items and the process in general to get up to date.

Not interested on doing campaigns cos the actual storyline is garbage and is a big put off.

Is just too saturated with minigames and other bs that I am not sure what is required to start playing it.

Well…too bad, you gotta dew it.

Its how you onboard to many of the systems.

so… you want to play retail, but you don’t want to quest?
you could probably just mess around doing delves.
go grab the (shock horror) quests from Brann in the middle of Dornogal.

i was going to suggest remix, but that involves questing too. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Go to Icy Veins

Use the token to get to lvl 70.
Blindly do the campaign quest till you reach lvl 80 and get your legendary cloak.
Then do what you wanna do next.

ok, i’m curious.
why would that be a good place to start?

they’re already 80

Oh. My bad

is cool, hard to tell if people are posting from a retail or MoP character without a little snooping :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If you don’t want to do the core Campaign then you’d be better off playing through Legion Remix. Or, you could just wait until Midnight and do the returning players quest line.

Follow the story and go to the new zone

Tada

Power gains in Lemix also gated behind infinite knowledge (which has a lot of campaigning).

Keep it simple. Just do the quests. Don’t worry about all the currencies. Early on you will do a Delve but it’s just indoor questing. Nothing to worry about. For the talent tree, take the defaults. Do that until you hit 80. By that time you will be ready to add in more stuff.

Just do it like I do… Approach it with care…

And don’t worry about how fast or how efficient you gotta be with completing these tasks. Just go at your own pace… Unfortunately campaign quests is where everything centers around for you to achieve and get items or perks that your character relies on.

I hope you enjoy the game for what it is and not as you’d expect it to be. If that was the case, then everyone in this game would want this game to be exactly how each individual would think is fair to them. But, really, just relax and go at your own pace… Make friends and avoid getting frustrated where frustration doesn’t need to hang around. Look at the game how you’d adapt for you to enjoy the game and not how the game or the people are expecting for you to have fun in the game… I hope that helps you find your way through the grind.
