Rejoice, Monks Thunderous Focus Tea has been

Thunderous Focus Tea has been vanquished! No more refunding roll and torpedo charges!

Now we just need teliporting to drop the flag or be grayed out with a flag.

I approve this, finally I can get to 1800 on my evoker now that MW monks are out of the fc picture

Although I see many changes for all classes coming Tuesday so I wouldn’t be surprised if a different class becomes the best FC

Paladins are getting blessing of freedom when they use their steed, and are super sturdy so wouldn’t be surprised if they become a top FC come Tuesday

In any case the OP will be back here next week whining about whoever the next top fc class will be lol

Paladins are getting a lot more than that, I hope it is enough. I miss my Paladin.

Dragons will be next on the chopping block. Don’t get too comfortable. Devs will clip their wings for sure.

I swear I can hear the whining about Dragons already. All these “Wah MW” threads are going to become “Wah Dragon” threads shortly. It’s going to be hilarious. Hilarious and totally predictable.

losing the refund on the charges is really all they need to do IMO. teleporting is a cool aspect to flag carrying. The infinite hover and roll charges are what need to be removed.

Yup. I could see Blizzard nerfing some of their (pres evkr) uptime on being immune to CC

Not enough. Put teleport in the nono list of spells while flag carrying and maybe just maybe they will be a little less op

Without port w/ flag MW would have no reason to touch a flag or orb and that would be fine by me.

I don’t think so.

But if you scream long enough, maybe they’ll address the Hover reset - in a couple months from now.

Literally not a single paladin will take freedom on steed talent as it shares a node with base freedom. If they do you won anyways because theyre a lobotomite.

Anything is possible when the community is loud. Ret use to be feared, dreaded. People threatened to quit the game in droves if Ret stayed effective. Now you can kill a Ret or ignore them, whatever you want, wherever you want.

In pvp, the only time you usually want Freedom during steed so steed works, having steed more often while sacrificing distance from the other talent would have enemies clicking their dispell or spellsteal before applying another slow, or just hit the paladin with a fear as folks do now. Freedom isnt really that much of a help separate or connected to steed. Its just countered differently. BUT not choosing who you give Freedom to when you also get it is a bit of a pvp noob trap.

They’re not going to nerf Nullifying Shroud. I can guarantee that. They might (possibly) look into nerfing the Hover reset - but only after X-mas. And New Years. And Valentine’s Day. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Also, be mindful of the fact that the MW change wasn’t due to RBGBs. They don’t balance around RBGBs. It was most likely due to interactions with incoming Talents - specifically the one which turns CJL into an AoE damage CD. If they didn’t do something to that Talent, it would have made CJL an AoE KB useable x4. Your “Screaming” did nothing.

I also suspect that we will be seeing MW buffs (despite everything) and possibly a couple of new PVP Talents sometime after 11.0.5 drops. Possibly a (more reasonable) mobility Talent making up for the loss.

Nobody (too small of a percentage of the community to matter) is screaming nerf preservation evoker.

I don’t actually expect it to be nerfed at all. But preservation evoker, now that mistweaver has been taken down a couple notches, has recieved through its design and tuning, its spot as the best flag carrier starting Tuesday. If pres players do a good job carrying flags after Tuesday people could notice and complain. Until Tuesday all eyes are on MW and its 6 torpedoes, rolls, and teliporting around with the flag.

Since 10.0.7 Ret went from God to merely mortal in 3 days with a hot fix, and still recieved heavy nerfs every week for 5 weeks after that, I believe nerfs for anyone can come at any time and could be any amount of warranted or unwarranted. Just because a spec doesn’t deserve nerfs doesn’t mean it’s not going to get nerfed.

Wrong word. Metas aren’t earned. Even MW didn’t “Earn” its spot.

The fact that anyone thinks Nullifying Shroud is a problem, especially in a BG setting, is somewhat mind boggling to me.

It’s 3 hard CC immunities per 1.5min. Against a team of 8 people. It’s also purgeable. It should be gone almost instantly unless your team is just PvEing and not pressing buttons.

As a hunter, you alone could clean off a Shroud in short order. Tranq + Binding Shot + Freezing Trap or Scatter, gone. Now Intimidate them, and all they have to press during it is 3min CD Emerald Communion.

P.S. Dragons are highly susceptible to roots, which you also have.

Ok, combat is happening, I get CCed and trinket, since the efc I have to hit with several aimed CCs is also there. I cast a CC it has no affect other than counting as one of three abilities that dont stop the pres evoker. Then I recieve a CC, and the evoker continues on across the map.

A) Did I “get baited” (just random words bad players say)

B) Did I get “outplayed” because my spec doesn’t ignore 3 CCs but the EFCs spec does

C) Did I fail to “get good” as obviously I should have got 4 CCs on a fast efc before I could recieve 2 instant cast CCs

First time I see someone smiling when the wheelchair gets atention. I still strongly dislike the horse garbage on paladin.

Yes seems that MW monks times are over. Next focus would be on evokers mobility agreed.

They could have just taken the roll charges off of it. I’m going to miss the knockback component :frowning:
