Per license then.
Still a better system than what we currently have
It’s not. It’s a system to encourage you to grind, delete, grind over and over again as many characters as you can to max level instead of making the power of your character based on playing your character.
Again its a license hard cap per license. I said account not realizing that now you can now have multiple licenses on one account. It used to be one account=one license.
There would be no benefit to level more than one license of characters. It would hard cap at 65. Delete any and you just regrind to get to the 65.
They aren’t. They serve almost 0 use outside of getting scaling gear. They are rewarding players that create a character and then leave them in a main city for 2 weeks before playing it, and that has to be the stupidest leveling “bonus” I’ve ever seen.
They want levelers to have bad gear. Having bad gear means new players will decide that if their gear is really bad while leveling, end game must be fantastic fun.
That’s… THE use for them. You got it. Especially when it comes to weapons. So there’s no need to go back to the AH every 10 levels and hope that upgrade gear isn’t outrageously expensive.
Yeah. For that reason alone, they are worth it to me, and I will always swear by them. I’ll gladly stand on that hill alone.
accounts are limited to 65 characters.
This would just be Blizzard undoing their mistake of nerfing heirlooms.
They did it because it was probably hurting sales on boosts or some crap.
Leveling is inherently a lot faster these days though. The total amount of exp for max level has been continuously nerfed.
Although heirlooms were nerfed, you probably still level faster compared to how long it used to take with old heirlooms with the exp bonus.
Like during the TW events, there’s that stacking exp buff you get from doing several dungeons in a row.
Heirlooms just aren’t needed anymore. Most of the bonus exp stuff is baked in these days through events and whatnot.
I stopped using mine, quests and drops are better. Probably haven’t seriously used them since they got nerfed.
Cutting the price on upgrades would be greatly appreciated.
