The TCG cards are sold to collectors outside of the game, these have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with RMT linked to the game. RMTers don t buy rare cards to RMT. RMT means you sell something IN GAME for $ outside the game. There is no RMTing of the tiger, there is only the selling of a physical card to people who collect cards like baseball cards or Magic or Pokemon cards

No one is buying old TCG cards for anything but the ingame item redemption code. Anyone who buys TCG for thousands is engaging in RMT.

To be clear, buying the card to get the code isn’t RMT. The code you scratch actually gets put into another website. That website is what gives you the actual in-game code. Buying an unscratched TCG card, or even a scratched one or the code on the card itself, is well within the rules.
But there are very obvious RMTers out there. Searching “spectral tiger” on a well-known auction website plasters a straight RMT example in your face.
if as many people watched twitch streams as complain about the free mount, it might actually be a problem. most of the time there seems to be less than a 1000 viewers of wow overall. even if the twitch event brings in double or even triple the average viewership, hardly anyone will have the mount relative to the total population.
Yeah, I’m curious to see numbers. Right now it’s 0.53% of active accounts.

I’ve always though the spectral tigers look puke-inducing bad TBH. I want the plagued proto or the blue rocket please.
I would even consider yielding and getting a Twitch account and sitting through a streamer display for the Spectral Tiger.

Yes they do but in that case they are selling accounts who have the mount or to meet you on your server and trade. There is a $2700 spectral tiger for sell on ebay and it is an account sale not a loot card sale. Those account sells are against the TOS

I bought my Spectral Tiger (blue) back in Cata for 450k and use it every day and I’m not even mad if either version comes out as a drop. People take things way too seriously in this game.
